The worst effect of eczema on me is that it lowered my self-esteem. I don't have it at the moment but I got scars and skin discolorations to show for it. But I slowly learned to not give a damn anymore and now I wear short-sleeved tops and shorts when I want to. Even when people stare, I don't mind anymore. Aw man this really hits me i started to get severe eczema all over my face and other places in the middle of sixth grade, it was horrible and itchy and everybody was always staring at me, and my self confidence hit a all time low. It’s been a couple years and let me tell you for most people eczema comes and goes with age, be mindful of your eating and try to test and see what foods are triggering your eczema, take out a certain food you eat for at least a week or ideally two weeks, but that’s a little long for most people and see if your skin gets better, because most of the time it’s a food allergy that triggers most people’s eczema, and I know it’s hard especially when you’re that young and kids don’t know any better and pick at you. But stay strong and don’t get too stressed out over it or you’ll have a stress breakout. I’m sure it even worse for people with darker skin because of hyper pigmentation. Stay strong and know that it’ll get better just keep your head held high
