Thanks Jason. That's wonderful! You're inspiring me to practice and get good! I'm a flute player and have composed some instrumentals and songs, but have always lacked piano skills. The SL88 you're playing sounds wonderful. Is it a nice keyboard to play?
@nathanielschool3 жыл бұрын
Wonderful! I'm playing the studiologic keyboard which to be honest, feels average! However, I use the virtual instrument, Pianoteq for the sounds which are inspiring!

Hi Jason Can you please make a video on how to harmonize hymns like church organists do by adding 3rds and sixths etc below the melody like the four part singing. I just began playing in my church however I use arpeggiated block chords. I play in a traditional Catholic church in London and accompany the singers. However at some point I would be asked to take up the church organ. Could you please throw some light on the points to consider while harmonizing hymns on the go. Are there any rules of thumb or ground rules and guidelines lines follow. Any help will be much appreciated.
@nathanielschool2 жыл бұрын
Will definitely work on this and let's plan a few lessons in the future on melodic ornamentation using intervals and other stacking concepts!

Well I learnt the arpeggios pattern u taught in ur previous video. Now how do I incorporate that with the melody especially when I'm playing worship songs? I usually play the bass chords just the 1st key n the 5th key on the left n melody with the right hand especially for worship songs.
@nathanielschool3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ingrid, Can you follow the arpeggios series. The last lesson focusses on bringing in the melody: kzbin.info/aero/PLrNNL05e9FT--QPXO3vIz_6SiSWILivlS

Thank you. It must be the Beginner in me, but when you show an "A" chord, it shows a "D" chord in the upper left diagram?

Hmm. Will check John. Try to follow the fingers for this one?

What kind of left patterns can I use with these arpeggios? Instead of just pressing down octaves in the left hand.
