It's getting really hot now in North Brisbane where I am but still getting an abundance of produce. I started going a bit rogue with all my plantings a while back after watching one of your videos 🙏 and planting more flowers in between everything. Has done wonders to confuse pests. I've got different beds everywhere and where something doesn't do so well in another spot it does. Happy gardening. Love your channel ❤ 🏝

Enjoyed that tour ,your garden looks similar to mine ,have container everywhere, raised garden beds and inground fruit trees. Do you like the strawberry guava taste? l consider to grow one but because of limited space l need to decide for one ,which one would you recommend? And how do fill your container gardens? Didn't figure out that to well... For raised garden beds lasagne style seems to work well so far...Your channel is a gem for Australian gardeners!!!🤩

I prefer the yellow over the red guava for taste I had one planted at the same time as the red but it died very early on. So I’m happy I finally have the yellow again! The Hawaiian is also a factor mine it taste very tropical. See if you can find some fruit to try. I ordered a truck load of soil. But for my containers I filled with small sticks and leaves and hat works well too. They will need to be topped up each year as the sticks break down the levels will drop. But it’s a great way to ease in financially by not having so much upfront soil costs.

Hi Holly your garden is an inspiration. Really enjoyed the video. Please do you have any advise on how to deal with the fruitfly problem. Kind regards.♡

I have been quite lucky but I did start to see them last season. A couple things I will be doing: 🌱don’t leave any fruit to Rot on the ground 🌱 Place small fruit fly bags on majority of the fruit so you get a harvest 🌱 harvest as early as possible

Absolutely!! They grow so quick you will have more to test out in no time 🌱 you can do the same with the suckers from the “armpits”

Do you find your nasturtiums come back after you mulch the garden? Mine start to die off when the weather warms up but once I've mulched it They come back pretty happy most summers. Also, are zinnias edible? 😊
