#715th to give a 👍! 😊 All three Aquascaps are very beautiful. The only thing is Aquariums should be at eye level or head hight as you are walking in or walking up close to the Aquariums, they should not be low down. I understand that in a Fish Store you cannot really avoid that because of the great amount of holding Aquariums however if they are going to be that beautifully done then it is a shame to not be able to appreciate the complete beauty of them. But all in all they are very beautiful and tastefully done. 👍✌️😊

@@miwu5880 Believe me, those fishes was in worst condition when my mom brought it home that was given by a friend. They're in a small bowl without filter and the water would get brown, stink and dirty. Now the water stay crystal clear for a month now. Here is a home video that i took. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jamogGuHfbxskMU The fry has turned out to be quite a beauty. Endler's with big black spot. Their fine turns black when they chasing after a female. The female look quite big. The biggest I ever seen. Anyway, care to to show me your aquarium? I wanna see your setup and how happy they look.

I like tank 2, but the third tank is the second I have seen this week with a wood 'bridge' like that through the middle with an island of plants at either end and I really like the look :) beautiful! I have played around with CO2, but after a very disappointing accident with Excel a few years ago I decided to go 100% low tech/low budget, almost all DIY. I lost almost a dozen fish due to a deliberate algae fighting overdose; mostly pygmy corys, my favourites. I was crushed and have only recently started keeping them again, along with sodalis and paleatus in my 40. I do weekly water changes and that's about all, occasionally trim some plants, but everything green thrives, in and out of the tank, immersed and emersed and I even have anubias growing in open air. My 35 is up and running over 20 years more or less the same, and I find, as with many other things, that it's only when I start messing with it that things go sideways - if it is working and the fish are happy, so am I :) 4 of 5 tanks are heavily planted, so could probably benefit from CO2 or more ferts or fancy lights, but it's neither a race nor a contest; my tanks are for my benefit and my fishies only :) oh yes and insta if you want to critique, but it's not a AD gallery it's my living room :) #metallhd62 :)

My favorite is definitely that last one. Man is that thing beautiful. Just shows you dont need all that expensive stuff to enjoy this beautiful hobby. There are so many different levels to the hobby and I think mastering the low tech side is more difficult because you really gotta dial things in. High tech tanks are great too but there isn't as much of a challenge since you've got the co2 doing the bulk of the work besides water changes. Low tech you really gotta be careful how much light you use. Better off starting low light and working your way up for sure. Love the video man. Love them all but that last one got me inspired to step my game up haha. Cheers bro!

That was a great video. I love that Ray has non co2 tanks that are so beautiful. I have six scaped tanks and don’t use co2 on any of them. It is more work but much better for the fish. I have always looked at “safe amounts of co2” in the water the same as safe levels of pollution in the air that we breath. I think we would all prefer no pollution and if our fish could talk they would say no co2 please.

Last one for me. It immediately draws the eye in encouraging exploration. Big leaves, pools of lush bright green catching the light and dark areas, dark foliage, same layered affect of the horizontal elements. The "tree trunk" with stone in the foreground. with a dark recess between, absolutely fantastic. You expect to see an animal run across that log over that stream in dense jungle. To my eye the most natural looking space. A clearing or place you might sit after a trek through the bush safe from leeches and idiot pit-vipers on those smooth flat rocks. Catch your breath and watch the life in and out of the water. A place to feel safe for a bit when you're a tad lost. Focus your mind on the job at hand till your eye begins looking for tide marks from flash floods, your cue that you're ready to leave. Less like an aquascape or landscape and more like being right there in the middle of things. Im wondering if dried sticks or reeds might be nice wrapped around some of the rocks, natural litter, few dead leaves.......mini plastic bottles....... Oh yea no joking, every much part of any landscape these days as plants and rocks etc. Definitely a nice room to fall asleep during lock down, a tape playing insect choruses and bird song.
