Stake Launcher is considered a Bow by the game's code. So you can increase its damage with the correct shroomite head and all of the magic quiver accessories

Ohh thanks for the tip! I was just reading the wiki about the launcher and it seems to have some great abilities (piercing, high dmg, etc). I'll have to test it out properly in the next episode! 🍪

stake launcher can actually be buffed by both quivers and scopes, which is why its my favorite weapon in vanilla

This week has definitely reminded me of the old you. Ive been watching you since 2015 and would always look forward to a new video everyday every time i came back from school whether it was you fisherman playthrough, scavenger playthrough, yoyo only or one of your modded ones. You always had some interesting story with the characters you played and you still do. It’s understandable that you had to abandon the “upload daily plan” ever since you experienced burn out from it. You still make amazing videos and i still look forward to every single video you upload ❤

If you use the eventide with normal arrows it actually does a burst shot type of thing that adds more projectiles to the attack

If you get a Snowman Cannon, it’s actually better DPS to use an Adamantite Mask/Hallowed Helmet, since the shroom helm only increases weapon damage, and half of the cannon’s damage comes from ammo, which adamantite/hallowed increase on top of weapon damage.

Snowman cannon with mini nukes goes hard but I really wanna see you use shroomite helmets with red riding chest plate and pants, it has better stats than full shroomite and gives you a chance to use stake launcher against old ones army. Great video as always happy :) 🍪

i really loved your class playthroughs. most of them are so old now that i dont think anyone minds a rehash of any of them. things like this series is also cool where you use weapons that arent commonly used. i dont think you really need to straight up ban weapons or anything, just have fun using more nieche weapons. youve always been one of my favourite content creators and im thrilled to see you back :)

Funfact about pirahna gun: If you stealth with shroomite/ vortex, then launch pirahnas, they keep the stealth bonus as long as you keep it held!

Gotta say the vibe of this editing style is honestly substantially better than the older method, switching between live and post feels unusual, since not many people do it, which makes it a nice bit more memorable. Although I have to say, Egads happy please use the witches broom properly lol stop getting off it! You can also use it+heartreach to dip into the death pit and pick up all those hearts without taking anywhere near as much damage.

One weapons I think you could use are the candy corn rifle from the pumpkin moon, as it’s a good event event weapon and could be of help if you intend on going after aerial bane

a trick i use for surface mushroom biome is building a small house for the dryad in the mushroom biome at night so she'll move instantly. she'll sell the seeds for quite a cheap price and it's convinient

Try and get yourself an Areal bane from Betsy in Old ones army event. It will serve you well in the events! One more tip - you have loadouts in your inventory. If you will use them, you won't have to change your helmets or accessories to use other weapons effectively. In your case, you can fill one loadout with gear for bows and shroomite armor for bows, in the second one you can put everything for guns including the armour with guns helmet, and the third one with launcher things and helmet. You can swap between them using F1, F2 or F3 buttons, without needing to go in the inventory all the time!

I did a ranger playthrough where I farmed for the uzi and got a jungle key before I got the uzi. I was pretty mad but also happy about getting it. Not as bad as my playthrough where I farmed angler fish for the adhesive bandage and got 2 JUNGLE KEYS BEFORE I GOT A SINGLE FREAKING BANDAGE.

The desert Tiger is insane with the dark harvest on summoners. It's really accurate in itself as a summon and for what i've seen the atks reduces the time between each tick of damage when the Tiger is on an enemy. Also every weapon seems op in this video, or maybe u are a Fortune Cookie Happy 😂

Hi Happy! I wanted to let you know the Eventide is really good for the Old One's Army. If you use Wooden Arrows/Endless Quiver, it fires five of the rainbow projectile, and they pierce quite a lot. If you put a wall behind the portals, it helps keep the Etherian Mana in one place. I've been able to solo Master Mode OOA as a Ranger using the Eventide, the Red Riding armor set, and the Explosive Trap sentry and just firing Eventide left and right from the center. During the later waves, the Explosive Traps take care of almost every enemy, allowing you to focus on Betsy. It's pretty strong, so it's your choice to use it if it's too OP. The Candy Corn Rifle is strangely fun, also seeing the Xenopopper without Chlorophyte bullets would certainly be interesting, The Nail gun is a weird weapon to use but it may be fun, the Phantom Pheonix can be really fun, but it does require Ogres to be killed, I am not going to suggest the Aerial Bane as its probably bannable and also from Betsy's, but one of the weapons I want to see used well the most is the Pulse bow. For the Stake Launcher you obtained, in my opinion is very good, but mainly because of its extreme pierce and projectile speed, but I would not consider it bannable.

theoretically the snowman cannon with cluster rockets can actually compete with the pillar weapons vs moonlord, given that any of the cluster munitions end up dealing damage also with special weapons, unless you're gonna be standing still to make use of the set bonus (asking for trouble), the adamantite mask will be better for your dps than the shroomite alternative

Eventide does seem to me to be really powerful. The fact that it comes from the Empress who was, relatively, a recent addition though kinda skews the result on how 'obscure/unused' the bow is. Plus, the fact that a lot of people who don't have the mechanical skill to dodge her a lot might consider it not worth going for the bow at this stage of the game where rockets or chlorophyte bullets tend to reign supreme. All this to say that my opinion on if it should be banned or not is rather mixed. Maybe placing it as a 'just in case all else fails' situation rather than completely banning it would work?

If u can use the bow that u make with... vortex... uh that green thing from the big green worm u can defeate the lord pretty ez with a long minecart path and some regen items and accessories (that stone from the golem) u should make the eyes low and then get them all at once... AND USE THE NURSE TOO!
