Beyond the Wall is an awesome game. Does a lot of the work for the GM and players with scenarios and playbooks. Always happy to see it get some love

It really is! I can't praise the tone of the writing enough. It's one of the more cohesive products out there.

It's just one small thing, but the convenient lunar calendar is fantastic. I have used it in a couple campaigns already and now is my default calendar for any campaign that requires a calendar.

Great videos. I agree with your introduction. Those books add a lot to the core game. The first book is basically a simple/basic OSR game mix with 3e rules all wrapped up in a strong vibe/theme, with playbooks and threats. The other books add rules and substances that enhanced the game tremendously for long play. I like their concept to design of your village with more residents/shop and the 'legend/rumour' surrounding the region map. I really like what Flatland are releasing. I bought 2 the other books too that are compatible with BtW (Through Sunken Lands and Grizzled Adv.) Will get the latest POD when it's available.

I've come back to BtW over and over again. It just seems such a wonderful confluence of classic and innovation; inviting but not overly simple. It's perhaps time to print these out and bring to the table

I Love Beyond the wall. System Matters sells the german Version and did some playbooks. If someone want to play as a chicken, fox or bear take a look.

Love Beyond The Wall, the magic is great, so cleverly done. It feels like a very modifiable game too and easy to adapt to multiple settings and the character classes and playbooks really lean in to that. I have the idea of running some Middle Earth based adventures using this and the character gen makes that very achievable I think. Although the setting in the last book actually looks really good too, too little time to run everything in one life! (I didn't know they had a new release out so I'm off to buy Kingless Realm now...)

I'd love to hear more about this core system. I think I have a pdf or two but I've never figured it out. I think I got some stuff on discount that sounded applicable to other games but it wasn't very approachable from that angle.
