I'm a software developer by trade, but photography has always been a big interest of mine. Bought my first camera 7 years ago (a6000) and only started photographing food in 2020, only because I wanted document the recipes that I made, recipes that are healthy... Since covid hit over kind of always been on the move traveling and have become lazy cooking and plating food, I'd rather eat a can of beans these days... Anyways, I sold my a6000 early this year and now a business idea presented itself that requires a lot of photographing of artwork, so after inquiring the prices of having others do it I thought to myself I might as well do it myself! So I just bought all the essentials for a studio setup and it costed me a pretty penny (a7c, 24-70 GM II, and a 90mm G macro), and I'm thinking since the setup is so close to food and product photography I might as well start a business on that front too! To conclude I look at photography as a tool not necessary my purpose, and I hope that makes sense, and maybe I won't be as popular as you Skyler or other food photographers but I'm fortunate enough to have my profession that I don't have to worry about not making it (but seriously, I hope to at least subsidies the monthly payments I'll be making for the gear😬)

If you saw my IG you'd see choosing a genre is my hang up. I like a lot of them. I mean, I always joked with my students telling them that I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. It's not only an issue with photography for me. I can get interested in learning about anything really. Luckily, I'm not trying to make money from photography. Right now it's my fun place. My photography journey started in June 2020 with a canon 1400d as i took several online classes and bugged friends for rides i started doing landscapes, nature , and sky photography at first i rushed my photos so they wasn't good but as time went on i became more deliberate in my shooting i slowed down and relaxed often going out for hours at a time

Any business needs to be developed and brought to an end, so all your fears will immediately leave you, it 's not easy here, but it's gambling,I am a mechanical engineer, but I had to become a photographer and a video operator, achievements slow me down, but I do not give up and capitulate,but I really like being a photographer,I have loved cars since childhood and became a university student, I also loved to draw, which prompted me to become a photographer,life should be interesting and comfortable,Food photography is a very interesting thing, I appreciate your work

it would be great if you could show us how you're shooting tethered with your galaxy device... maybe lightroom classic too, because your shooting now with capture one. but... capture one ist to expensive for non-pros 😢 would really love tonknow how you're doing that because this is so time saving 🥰 pls do me that favor 🤗
