I tell everyone I know about you. It surprises me that you do not have more subscribers. You seem both knowledgeable and humble and your videos are amazingly informative. Thank you.

Thank you so much... the subscribers are coming, a few every day... it is real work to build a channel like that... but I am having fun and the fact that people appreciate what I do is a great reward.

@@EytschPi42 yea Dr. Evil of guitar you are one of my favorite YT guitar channels- now you have to do a Blofeld and Dr. Evil plays guitar skit! Cue the 007 theme music too.

To tell you the truth, I thought the Joyo sounded the best out of the 3, more transparent, lets your original sound through and blends in the flanger. If it wasn't so big and chunky (I'm into micro pedals these days) I'd buy it right now!
@EytschPi429 жыл бұрын
Joyo now has the raptor flanger for the Ironkan series... I just got it... have to test it, but probably very similar to the big boy.
@endriu555 жыл бұрын
it sounds best but still is mediocre. For that price I can't complain really much but there are far more great flangers under 100$

@Quiksilver TC electronic Vortex, Digitech Nautilla. These two come up to my mind now.

Thanks for this helpful video. The Strymon is great, but considering the price, theJoyo/HB Flanger is a top product. Do you have the Mooer ElecLady? I would like to hear if the ElecLady is closer to the Spark or the Orbit.

One my favorite flanger sounds is when Prince uses it with a digital delay pedal -he'd get these whooshing feedback trails that sounded almost like whale song. He used that to end a lot of performances.

The Ibanez FL9 is the first flanger pedal I purchased back in 1983, and I consider it to be the benchmark by which I judge any analog flanger. I sold it but got another one... however, after purchasing the Joyo Classic Flanger, I sold my FL9! Why? 1) It is a true bypass pedal, and very quiet in operation. No "tone suck" here, or "gate" sounds at the end of a note. 2) it is, more or less, an FL9 - but like an FL9 on steroids - the resonance dial goes just a little bit further than the FL9, into self-oscillation! This is also the second Joyo Classic Flanger I have owned - the first one had graphics of a mighty Hawker Harrier jump jet silk-screened on the case... but my current version has the little "Karate Men" graphic, which seems to be the rarer version.

Auch gut demo I appreciate all of your demo's. Ich haben the Classic Flanger it does well, my only issue with pedals is ( pedals that I have purchased that have shitty on and off switches ) I sell them. The Great thing is; your demo's show entry level and also more professional level quality effects, amps and other gear. Danke!!! Talk about the Quality of the foot switch on and on switch quality. Thank you again.

Joyo sounds best and most fun to listen to. Added in the super low price, and the Joyo is the clear winner!

Strymon blows the other two away in my opinion. It just can do so many different modulation times and plenty of ways to control the parameters. The HB sounds good but limited. Strymon sounds like studio gear. Wouldn't pay new prices but used for under $200 I can be sold

I find the louder i play the less effect i need or want so i must have a Flanger with a Mix or Blend control or Wet/Dry knob as my Electric Mistress Flanger is over the top with too much effect ! In my opinion the Flanger sounds too nasal like in a tunnel or tube and limits the normal guitar tones i get ! If only i could control how much of the effect i get i can get my sound at any volume !

I love your demos, one question, what is your top 6 joyo?
@soulagent7910 жыл бұрын
I have compared the Joyo/Harley Benton Flanger to an MXR Flanger, which costs three times as much. The Joyo was better by far...!

The original EHX Deluxe Electric Mistress and the Flanger Hoax are way much better than all expensive modern flangers. They have extra stages that make them sound not only as jet planes but intergalactic space ships passing the speed of light ! It is best heard when placing a DEL E.M. set at minimum speed after a Big Muff. Effect is incredible and unique. I own many flangers very few others have this feature. I am buying flangers for 40 years, analog and digital, and the duet Deluxe Big MuFF Pi + Deluxe Electric Mistress is the craziest thing I have ever heard. Doesn't work with modern Deluxe Electric Mistress or 2000 reissue. Flanger Hoax is an interesting alternative but you have to dig settings for hours and it doesn't sound exactly the same as the vintage del. E.M. Another alternative is the Aural Dream Super Flanger but it has many flaws, loss of high frequencies and volume, hiss... Doesn't work with flangers I bought from Earthquaker devices, OBNE, Strymon, TC Electronic, MXR etc.

Hi. Nice video. Heve you experienced any drop of volume on any of these pedals? I have the EHX and I hate it just because of the drastic volume drop. Thanks
@EytschPi429 жыл бұрын
Marco No, no volume drop, but the Mooer degrades the guitar signal. the other two do what they are supposed to... the Strymon obviously gives you way more options !
