This is an excellent demo! Best flanger demo I've found. Explain how flanging works and goes through each parameter slowly with a nice consistent sample. Good Job Mitch!

Different strokes for different folks it appears - we have different ways of learning and what works for some wont for others. Personally, I agree with the comment about the importance of demoing the device rather than simply providing an exhibition of how clever the guitarist is. To me this video is really helpful in understanding the capabilities of the device and, in particular, the function of the controls and how they interact together. The advantage of playing pretty much the same thing throughout is that the comparisons are more obvious. I’d like to see more demos conducted like this. Thanks Mitch - well done.

Simon Simon 1 year ago Just got one of these and was having trouble getting it to do anything nice. This really helped understand the way the different controls affect the flange. Demoing the effect parameters instead of the player's musical ability is how all demos should be. I Totally Agree! Really learned a lot! Not frustrating at all!

Love this review. Showed me everything about the pedal and didn't have any annoying bullshit where the player thinks they're a professional musician who's just sold a hit new album. Keep it up

I appreciate the review and the one noting vs ‘showing off’, that said I would have liked to hear some actual playing in the demo.

Mitch, you have influenced me into purchasing this pedal. Thanks for the thorough demo.:))

I'm sorry Mitch, but the description about the MANUAL control is wrong. Higher MANUAL knob makes the delay time shorter (as opposed to being longer), so higher frequency is affected because short dulation means higher frequency.

+rydeentokio Was hoping somebody commented on this. That's always been my understanding. This also means you will need to turn the manual knob down (counterclockwise) to get into true chorus territory.

omg this was frustrating because he main just chugged on one note. would have been nicer to play sustained notes and chords

I was going to get one of these, but then I found out it only works when you chunk on the E string. This was painful to force myself to watch.

Are almost 30 people downing the pedal or the review?

The review.... Don't get me wrong, I love Mitch, but A LOT more exploration of the settings needs to be done by a player well experienced with getting the most out of the effect.

How does it sound with a bass?
@sweetwater Жыл бұрын
Hello, John! I haven’t tried that on bass personally, but generally speaking any modulation based effects that sound good on guitar will also sound good on bass, as well. Thanks for the interest! Spunde, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1732, Spunde@Sweetwater.com

Ha, ha, this is the most funny video about demoing a flanger, I imagine the faces of those who watched it while they were expecting to hear chords and long notes ...

Mitch usually does good reviews. This one is painful. At least play cowboy chords

I owned this pedal and was very disappointed. It was difficult to use, but once I understood it better, I found no reason to keep it.I sold it fast...at a loss.

This video is called review probably because this guy is not a guitar player, but what is mentioned is sweetwater, and to display this kind of video make me think that people of sweetwater are poor guys. this video has not been deleted because they can't do better
