PusheenLover 320 although ice cream does melt, you can make a cake with it you just have to use the freezer and keep chilling it. So it would take considerably longer but it is doable.

Have you tried using dehydrated raspberry powder for butter cream flavouring? Still very potent and fresh flavour if you slightly hydrate it and mix it into your butter cream, and it still keeps the integrity of the texture of the butter cream without risking it getting too liquidy. I don't have Yolanda level skills yet and could never get the texture right with liquid flavourings like purees. Hope it helps other amateurs!
