The part about John Mew is true, crazily enough. He came up with this idea in the 1970s-80s that if you held your tongue in place on the roof of your mouth for an extended period of time each day, it could have the same effect as corrective surgeries for people who had severe overbites. There's not much basis for this theory. A lot of his other methods for orthodontics were untraditional and couldn't be verified as a reliable treatment. It is hilarious to see the development of "mewing" over time.

The original FNAF lends itself really well to the observation playstyle actually, what a great idea. All the easter eggs in the first game were basically just observation anomalies anyway, making it an actual gameplay mechanic alongside usual FNAF gameplay feels so natural because it was already most of the way to existing. So clever.
