Do you know why they dont do as well ? is it water hardness ? PH ? maybe you could try reverse osmosis water ?

@johnnydubbsaquascaping idk. According to websites, they should do well in any pH or hardness. I only know that our pH range from 7.6 to 7.8, and it's hard to bring down even if I put in a lot of tanic or humic acid. Our water comes from underground, which is a thick layer of limestones. I follow other tubers with soft waters, but they also have random results even in the same fish room.
