They sporn upcreek so the eggs flow down river and fall between the tiny gaps to be safe while growing.which is why they try to escape in my opinion.

Thanks for the information 😀so far so good, I have kept the water level about 50mm from the top of the tank and I have not noticed them trying to go above the water line. I have the canister filter outlet about 40mm from edge of tank as well.

@johnnydubbsaquascaping
@johnnydubbsaquascaping Ай бұрын
Hi @mattmulhearn668, this light is a sunsun ADE500c 24 watt, purchased from Ebay for about $50 Australian dollars. I also purchased some raisers so that the light sits a bit higher than what comes with the light. This is the same light that MD Fishtanks used to use in his earlier days. Grows plants very well but also algae if left on for too long or too close to the surface of the water :)

For an jurassic park aquascape I think you shoud choose different fish. Some which look a little bit ancient... for example some bunecephalus verrucosus or similar fish, witz microctenopoma ansorgii for example and in a bigger tank I would take fundulopanchax soejestedti, and epiplatys ansorgii for this tank and fasciolatus for a bigger tank. But there are a lot of possibilities what will fit in a jurassic park tank.
