1st Job MD'ers is to like the video. It helps more than you know! ...And maybe buy some merch in the banner above if you want to support the channel :) A very simple setup for this one but I think it has turned out really effective. It should be a very good looking tank in one months time that's for sure when I do an update. This fresh scape is beautiful. I do understand the lure of newness, but mature, balanced, grown-in tanks are a treasure. I wonder if you have considered rehoming your setups rather than tearing them down. Swapping in a new glass aquarium would have all the benefits you seem to desire excepting the re-use of your soil... but as always; I appreciate the manner in which you learn through experimentation and invite us along to grow with you. Thank you for sharing :)

Some scapes you just have to keep...like the one next to it. Currently revamping it now. And my first nano tank that i still have. I feel this one didnt evolve well. Tanks are like many other things in life, some you get emotionally attached to and some you don't.

Zach Naylor I believe this is close to, if not very similar to the Walstad method. And I think he is able to add fish so quickly because he is probably using a bacterial Kickstarter like Turbostart. With those kinds of products, you can theoretically add fish immediately.

@jcaqua17364 жыл бұрын
Stephen Woods the HOB filters might be better for smaller than 4 gallon tanks as they don’t take up as much space in the actual tank. And if it is that small of a tank, it’s better for the betta to have as much room as possible :)
