I think it’s a beautiful little scape and I think Mr. Betta is very handsome! And since he was probably not a wild caught betta it doesn’t really matter what his natural habitat would look like because he didn’t grow up in it. I don’t understand why some people go to all the trouble of typing out a snarky comment. Keep up the good work! In fact, I’m going to subscribe right now so I can see more of your work. 💕

Looks great! One question: at 5:23 you fill it with water to make the soil more stable but release it afterwards to continue with the scaping?
@nature_scape11 ай бұрын
Thankyou 🙏 water was filled to make the soil totally wet as wet soil is more stable and do not roll too much and gives a good grip to the hardscape (in my experience). So later water was drained to continue with the scaping as scaping without water filled is easier.

I watched a great video. Outlet standards of Eheim 150 products 9/12 and inlet standard 12/16. Is the LILY PIPES specifications in the video like the Outlet and inlet standards of Eheim 150? In the description, the LILY PIPES specifications are written at 9mm.
@nature_scape Жыл бұрын
Thankyou 🙏 Yes eheim gives outlet of 9mm and inlet of 12mm in classic 150 and I have used 9mm for both inlet and outlet, for inlet as it’s bigger just cut a little piece of 9mm tube given with the filter and first fit that piece on the lily pipe and than the 12mm pipe over it and you are good to go.

Awesome scape, especially without CO2. Buuuut, that’s absolutely no tank for a betta. Way to bright, no hiding places (like many plants to hide in or swimmingplants to hide under) and Bettas should be kept alone, no second betta or other fish, you can try it with shrimps, but they might end as food. Snails always worked (in my case) but I already heard storys about Bettas who don’t even accept them. 😂

sir whenever I add fish food in aquarium, after sometime the food goes to bottom and I can't see it because of the rocks, so will the fish be able to eat this in between stones? My stones are small in size and there are alot of it, I dont think so that the fish can push the tiny stone and eat the food. so what to do? should I removed these stones and replace it with something else? please any suggestion???
@nature_scape Жыл бұрын
I would say just feed the amount which the fishes eat before it sinks. Plus some times the fishes may be able to eat the food between the rocks but the remaining accumulated food will rot and will be a problem in long run.

@FinnPetrak You clearly need to do your research/homework,, Just in case you haven't noticed,, There are no filters in your local pond.
@FinnPetrak Жыл бұрын
@@happymethehappyone8300 sir my local pond has much more water innit that 20 to 30l and a lot more natural filtration through the different layers of substrate
@FinnPetrak Жыл бұрын
@@happymethehappyone8300 you can have an aquarium without any mechanical filtration and so without any water flow but only if your substrate level is high enough and contains a lot of porous material with a big surface area like JBL volcano mineral so that bacteria have a place to live. But even with all that and enough biomass in form of plants I would never keep fish in an aquarium like this maybe a few snails or some shrimp but they need heating so a tank without any technology at all is simply not suited for animals
