I just made my first batch of henna gloss treatment last week! I made the tea this week and I can truly say, I’m shook!! In a great way! My hair loves it! I’m still trying to determine if my scalp does. I have a problem with seborrheic dermatitis and no store bought products nor meds are working! Oils really agitate it so I’m hesitant to try the oil recipe. However, I love the other two for sure!! Thank you so much!!! ❤

Great video! Alternatively, you could also mix a batch of henna (100 grams) and amla (25 grams) or your favorite fruit acid, separately, then freeze the dye released henna into ice trays. That way, with each mask or tea you could pull from the henna ice when needed. :) When the henna thaws, all of its nurturing properties will be in tact and instantly available.

Urla Eversley-Moses it really is my pleasure 💕 I wouldn't advise using the mix on a four year old because of potential sensitivities and the potency of the mix. If I had not have kept reading the comments, I would've thought this was Curlyproverbz recipe with a twist...Do you still use the scalp lotion with aloe vera? I tried it, but it did not work for me...my aloe vera was expired though. maybe that was the case. Do you notice any difference bet. fenugreek seeds vs. it's powder form?
@LoveYourTresses7 жыл бұрын
Yep, a few comments suggesting the same thing, I think I’ve addressed that topic enough now. I no longer use the lotion, I found that as long as I wash my hair at least twice a month my scalp is happy. I love Aloe Vera but felt I could get so many more benefits form using various oils on my scalp so went back to using oils instead. Good point, maybe it was because it was expired - worth trying again maybe? :) I’ve never used the powder form but can’t imagine them differing much. Both would have time to steep in the oil so I think either is fine x

I had 2 brain surgeries in April and have discovered that I'm losing my hair through excessive shedding. I'm desperate to figure out what to do. There's so much to choose from to decide what to do. Also, what is your regimen? What is the sequence that you use each recipe? What steps/products do the recipes replace? Thanks!
@LoveYourTresses7 жыл бұрын
Hi La Tanya, so sorry to hear about your excessive shedding. I’m glad the surgeries went well and your here to tell your story! I have a video published just before this one where I share my regimen in detail. The recipes only replace 1) My prepoo product which used to be the 'Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Extreme’ and 2) My Deep Conditioner which I now mix with Henna Remain blessed x

Finally Fiona: Is a bentonite clay treatment something you'd recommend also?
@LoveYourTresses7 жыл бұрын
La Tanya Wright I'm afraid I've only used a clay once and that was a while ago so I can't recommend it. There are lots of clay wash videos by naturals on YT. Perhaps you can see what you think based on those videos. X

Hi Fiona, you said you use henna for your grey, how does the henna affect your grey with this recipe. Do you add indigo?

In your second recipe, what is in the tea bag given that the green tea was in powder form? Also how much is a mug of Aloe Vera Juice? Thanks.
@LoveYourTresses7 жыл бұрын
The tea bag is green tea. In the initial demo I ripped the tea bag open to show its contents, but for the recipe itself the tea bag is used. I used enough aloe vera to fill my tea cup x

Hi Hope you can help me. I've been doing using aloe vera powder in my henna gloss, leave in and deep conditioners but it leaves behind residues similar to flakes. Have you tried aloe vera powder or do you have any tips to combat the residue please
@LoveYourTresses7 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I’ve not used the aloe powder, have you tried aloe juice or pule aloe gel instead? I definitely think it may be worth trying something else if the mix isn’t working for you with the powder. x

Finally Fiona Ok thank you. I've used the juice in the past, want to get the plant and see how that goes.

Any time I use aloe on my hair, it breaks off. I tried black castor oil, and all natural aloe Vera on my eye lashes to make sure it was the aloe. It broke my eye lashes off too. So I don't figure out why it does it to me. For every one else. It's a blessing. 😑😑. I love everything thing else though, gonna have to try. Been on a. Hair journey since January. Uugghhh, it's so hard..

Nice video, I have a pure powdered fenugreek. Can that be use instead of the fenugreek seed to make the oil. lol i add maca to my custard, never used for my hair.
@LoveYourTresses7 жыл бұрын
Kiki Valerie you sure can! That's even better, saves you some time if you skip the seed blending! Yes I'm also using the maca in my smoothies!! Glad to get as much use from it as possible!!!

Hi Fiona. How long should I deep condition with the henna gloss? Also, can I put the gloss in the fridge instead of the freezer?
@LoveYourTresses7 жыл бұрын
Hi JC B - I deep condition under a heat cap anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Without the heat cap I would go for as long as 2 hours. Yes you can keep it in the fridge, it won’t last as long as in the freezer but it should be fine for 1 - 1.5 weeks x
@jbcutie7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for replying Fiona! Well, i'm going to use it up. Its currently been in the fridge for 2 weeks already. But I'll freeze it now.
