I rarely learn "must learn" licks, but that first one WAS a must learn! I never start the diminished sound on the major6 in a minor funk.. Sounds so sick!

Awesome bro I have been struggling to come up with tasteful churchy licks rather than just playing a straight groove this really helped me out tremendously thank you for sharing and caring bro you are the man... Also I'd like to see u do a funky shout video on how to not be so repetitive and redundant but mixing other walks along with fill in licks to keep the shout moving and exciting. Thank you Bass Brother

Man oh mAN!, I'm so glad to have your channel show up in my feed. Subbed, Liked, Saved. You Jaaaayyyyymmmmmmmm. Thank you so much for sharing. So appreciated! EDIT: So, been working on this particular groove with you, and your right hand techinique is integral to getting the "groove". your ghost notes are carefully chosen, which string, muting finger and playing finger too. took me a minute, but it only solidified my respect for how casually you play through it. (with momentum)

Hey Travis, I appreciate this video, thanks for taking the time to go over the notes, I just got to spend some time practicing the licks. Is it possible that you post the notes when doing the videos? It will save a slow old man like me a lot of time trying to figure out the notes and writing them down, I have to play the video over & over. You very much appreciated, many guys can play the licks, but it;s rear to find a brother like you that will brake it down. I can send you my email, if I know where to send it to. Thanks Ayo A.
