Wow the weather looks nice there lol Stoked to see you picking up journaling again. I think it’s huge for people in healthcare to encourage practitioners to slow down and treat the whole person, not just seeing them as another “case.” Love that for you man. My 2025 habits include a new Bible Study group I joined and I’ve been trying to listen to podcasts more and more, especially to and from work. I also have been stretching a lot more. Mobility training is peaking for sure. Please give Marin, Odin, Kaia, and Mav a big ole hug from me. Hope to see you next week!!

Since you are my role model I am going to try one of these habits and I’m going to put my phone out of my room and see if I sleep better. Just gotta figure out how I can wake up since my watch charges at night…

Also really appreciate your vulnerability. I think I could really benefit from journaling too as a good outlet but I’m wondering if I could type and get the same benefit because my handwriting sucks so I hate writing lol

Yeah I wear my watch to bed every night and have been for years. I charge it when I’m in the shower every couple of days when it needs it.

There’s a lot of great apps for journaling, I just try not to use my phone first thing in the morning so pen and paper is a great outlet for me!

@@HDPeterson19 I’m going to see if there’s an app I can download on my computer for journaling and I will look into an old school alarm clock to solve my problems lol thank you!!

Great habit changers! I too have limited my scrolling...etc My phone gives me a weekly time usage update...which holds me accountable. You have to be aware of being numb to your emotions...so i applaud you for recognizing it. Do you journal every day? Im still struggling with being consistent.

I have been journaling every day for the past month and found that it is helpful to use the time as a way to get organized for my day as well. Getting a pen to paper to start a to-do list keeps me accountable to stick with my journaling.

Great idea! I really didn’t do anything much different from most others out there. I used AMBOSS since I already had access rather than paying for UWorld. The main thing is just doing practice questions. As many as you can handle. Review your incorrects, do graded practice tests (I believe I did 4 NBME practice tests), and relax. It’s important to take care of yourself. Set a time limit on the day and don’t work past that time.
