1. Being obsessive about your fitness. Staying reasonably fit between fight camps. 2. Watching other fights. Watching and studying at least one fight a day. Then try a technique/s to see if it works for you. 3. Ability to fight hard against negative, unhealthy habits. Drinking, caffeine, drugs, mediocre foods - all eliminated and cut off, the younger you start the cutting these out the better.

I think all three habits fall into obsession, not a bad obsession, but when drive is extended so long it becomes obsession. Everyone who is successful (self built) seems to be obsessed.

I mentioned to a couple people I train Parkour with about how if someone questions my knowledge or qualifications to see my KZbin history. They laughed, a lot and belittled me and thought I was saying that watching others makes me more skillful, so they'd be a pro gamer if that were true. I had to point out that 1) We are clearly not watching the same things 2) If we are, we are not watching the same way.

You Inspire me yes I also do It recently since Im a coach. When I was younger I only try to copy Bruce lee and Sugar Ray Robinson .Now I watch everyone from many style and from many federation .Even when you try different style or tactic its not always something you can do at 100% but maybe you can do It at 30% wich is good . Add this whit other you can have a pretty good style and tactic.

@DaveElwoodCutter Жыл бұрын
Caffeine has actually shown to have many health benefits as well. However it can affect sleep and thus recovery if consumed after a certain time of day. I definitely wouldn’t cut it out but limit it’s consumption to the a.m. hours.

Gabriel I'm really surprised you don't use caffeine. Doctors and neuroscientists say it has many benefits, and only negative side effects after like 600-700mg. Is this just because you never tried it and you abstain out of habit?
@GabrielVargaOfficial Жыл бұрын
Yes. Just that I've never tried it and don't feel like a need an energy pickup.

@@aleks5340 this is wrong "bro science" excessive caffeine yes. But one coffee or espresso before a competition/sport session is super beneficial. Or one in the morning. Helps burn fat, boosts your metabolism, increases blood flow, boosts autophagy etc. Just don't drink excessive and not past 4 PM. While 95% info Gabe puts out seems super legit, do not take every info for given, but educate yourself from different sources.

Drugs? You've never been in the trenches where you have to fight someone who can barely feel you hitting them, I guess you mma fighters aren't allowed to do that lol. We had a friend who passed, he took on 8 cops and beat them with their own club after doing an 8 ball. They called in like 15 cops to subdue him. It happened just down our road, he was coming to visit our area and houses when it happened. Or one night I wasn't bouncing we had a huge guy come tear our bar apart high on drugs. It took all the staff and multiple cops 10 minutes to get him out of the bar cause we had this huge stair case and our bar was on the 2nd floor. The next night the whole bar was like, "Where were you, we need you here last night!"

"An 8-ball of cocaine is an intense stimulant drug that causes the release of dopamine and triggers brain activity in different sections of the brain. If someone you love is talking about getting an 8-ball, that’s a good sign that they are dealing with an addiction, or at least that they are using cocaine in dangerous and potentially addictive quantities. Many people consume this high amount of cocaine because it triggers the fight or flight response in the brain. It also triggers an increased amount of dopamine released into the brain. Both the fight and flight response and high levels of dopamine cause an extreme boost of energy and the sensation of pleasure and euphoria. However, when one person consumes an 8-ball of cocaine in one day, this is a serious issue. Not only is this unusual for a drug user, but it is unhealthy, extremely unsafe, and can cause fatal health issues or overdoses. Many people who consume an 8-ball of cocaine alone in a short time do this to prevent the onset of cocaine withdrawal symptoms that can be intense and uncomfortable. Consuming an 8-ball of cocaine by yourself is extremely dangerous and usually a sign of struggling with cocaine addiction. Because cocaine is a stimulant, it acts on the central nervous system, which includes the brain and the spine. These both control important organ and cognitive functions, so long-term impairment of the central nervous system can cause serious issues throughout the body. Some of the health problems associated with taking an 8-ball of cocaine are short-term. However, others are long-term and chronic. Cardiovascular problems are very common in people who consume an 8-ball of cocaine alone. This includes increased heartbeat, heart rate, and high blood pressure. In addition, blood flow around the body typically decreases, and body temperature increases or decreases. Other problems can affect a person’s mental health and psychological well-being. For example, neurological problems such as paranoia or psychosis have been reported in people consuming eight balls of cocaine in short periods. Mood and personality shifts have also been reported, and many of these psychological changes or shifts are permanent and chronic. Brain damage is a serious issue associated with consuming eight balls of coke. Brain damage is often irreversible and can affect various important cognitive and bodily functions. Cocaine usage can also cause eye problems such as vision loss, blurry vision, and uncontrollable eye movements."

@@Explorshon123 Did you miss the part where I said he's dead? These ppl don't care, they'll do an 8 ball and still buy more. That's what it's called where I'm from.. "More.." How about you go to my hometown and hand out brochures to bikers and all the Opioid and Hard Addicts.. I grew with them and I have to beg and plead for their lives for them to care about their own and I still get told to mind my own business and a threat of a punch in the face, or they'd still steal from me after I fed them and gave them a roof and a bed over their head. I got sick of trying to save ppl that didn't want to be saved.
