I have insomnia and my sleep was horrible in highschool, 2 hours a night. Through learning best practices for sleep and taking certain supplements I've gotten myself to 6-8 hours a night and it's a world of difference. In highschool I thought I was completely unathletic and not made for physical activity but since I fixed my sleep I slowly grew into the most athletic person I know. Sleep is so important guys!

@A .H PRODUCTIONS I recommend magnesium. Improved my sleep a lot.
@owenschmowen5313
@owenschmowen5313 3 жыл бұрын
@A .H PRODUCTIONS Magnesium is great to relax the body and get more restful sleep, montmerency cherry juice helps to create melatonin (the sleep-inducing brain chemical), 5htp can raise serotonin levels, low serotonin levels can cause low mood but also it's needed to create melatonin. Valerian and passion flower can relax the body and mind, passionflower especially if anxious thinking keeps you up. None of this stuff is magic and cant mask the effects of a sedentary lifestyle or poor diet habits or bad morning/night routines. Hope this helps!

A lot of these habits are the type of things you see outside of fighting as well. I grew up in a division 1 school and these type of habits were pretty much the expectation. Of course, replace watching fights with watching opponent and team films. Football was all about watching games and plays over and over. I didn't have the height to do extremely well in the sports I was interested in, but the habits instilled in me helped me in many areas of life. From military, work, and being a dad. It's about being fully engaged!

8:35 this is one of the best life advices that I got by my grandmother. I never in 16 years of my life saw her angry or sad. There is a bet in our family, if we piss her off somehow we get 50 bucks. She always said that to truly be pozitive and happy you need to be greatfull for all the things you have in life, only then you realize how lucky you are. Everyday is a good day above ground. Sadly she died 3 days ago.

Being my own fighter and coming up with my own style is how I make the process fun and enjoyable for me. I’m customizing my own game character to have the moveset of my own choice. I don’t know if the style I’m trying to develop works or wins or not, it’s just fun to combine things that seem to synergize. This is how I approach martial arts with a gamer’s heart.

I'm like you when I see someone on the heavy bag that could use some tips and direction. I won't say a word. Most people have their ego invested too heavily to appreciate feedback or advice. But I train people on the heavy bag, and those sessions are full of correction and constructive criticism. They're paying me for that, and they're there to learn and improve. Context is what typically makes all the difference. Great tips in this video. Your stuff is always top notch. I love it!

My two cents: Watching fights AND good fighters/trainers (like this channels) helps a lot. Teaching is the BEST way to learn, if you know what you are teaching. Being positive/and disciplined specially when things go south is fundamental. And I believe that all this is posible only if you love the game. If you don't, you won't be doing this for a long time. On a side note: Training everyday is hard, specially when this pandemic going out. Maybe you can teach some "figther at home routine" that can guide us? And as always. Thank you so much for sharing with us all this knowledge. Really is lime having a seminar everyday.

Do you think a big, stocky, strong guy, shorter than average for his division, with one shot knockout power, can be an elusive, slick, fast, Anderson Silva-like counterstriker? That is my main goal as a striker. I am an MMA fighter, so I have to be an effective grappler as much as an effective striker, granted, but that is the style I'd like to master on the feet. Being a master of head movement, Lerdsila-like reflexes, man, I'd love to have even half of Lerdsila's reflexes... and countering fast, accurate, hard and esplosive, cause we all know the shot that knocks you out, is the one you don't see coming.

@@AdamPenmanOfficial I'm not smaller, I am shorter than an average middleweight. Many told me I look like a light heavyweight and I could easily fight at 205, but that would be too much, I'd be too big and too slow. Maybe 170 could have been better for pursuing this fighting style, but for my body composition, I would be like a dead man walking if I went down to 170, so 185 is the perfect weight class for me. I am satisfied with my body in terms of muscle, I just wish I was like 5'10 tall
