Personally I would have kept the RDP and did the installation of the trigger and stipple later... The threaded barrel is way more versatile than the ones without.

I have the hellcat RDP & Glock 26... I daily carry my hellcat RDP now. I'm a little more accurate with the glock 26, but the hellcat is much more compact, holds couple more rounds, has a red dot, and has never once malfunctioned on me.

I have an RDP with the Apex trigger and a Hogue grip for my over size paws. At 25 yards I get consistent hits on clay pigeons strewn across the back stop. For such a small pistol this is phenomenal accuracy for a guy like me, basically a long barrel revolver hunter. I never had much luck with semi autos til I bought the Hellcat. If I shoot for a half hour or so fatigue starts to cause me to miss. Good review!

I have to admit, I have watched this video now, five times. I like the oversized grip that the Hogue slipover grip provides, so the Langdon stippling, although nice looking, would be a waste of money for me. So, because of the amazing group that you got out of the RDP, I have chosen to go with the RDP. This is the third Springfield I will have purchased due to the outcome of your videos. I am lucky I don't have anyone that controls how much I spend on firearms. If I did, I am sure, I would not be allowed to watch your videos anymore..LOL Thank You, for all your efforts. You make it so much easier to rationalize the cost of my habit...Ah, I mean hobby...

I carried the original Hellcat OSP for a few years and then recently put the RDP kit on it and a TLR-7sub... trained with that setup a lot and just started carrying it again recently. I'm pretty happy with it. I am surprised with my Bill Drill and other ECD drill results... ALMOST as good as with a full size (XD40, P320, G19, etc....)

You and the Hellcat -- no matter which version -- get along very well. Even with your own "Plain Jane," look at the paper target: almost perfect linear string. I'd say the factory RDS+comp version was the ace of the demonstrated shooting, but I'm not able to feel the trigger nor stippling of the LTT from across an internet connection!

There is now a 4th configuration with all Springfield parts I am deeming the Hellcat RDP Pro or Hellcat Pro Tactical - 4.25 threaded barrel, comp, and 17 round mag, its awesome!

The stock trigger did the best by far. Can't always go by the feels. Based purely on performance I think I would have kept the RDP.

I thought so as well. I wonder if it's because he focusing more with the anticipation of it being a worse trigger. Maybe more loosey goosey with the 'better' triggers cause it makes you feel more confident with your shots so you end up shooting more wildly. Kind of like a psychological Catch 22.

Felt that Justin took more time lining the shots with the 3rd ltt Hellcat and basically blew by the shots with the RDP. I'd just change the trigger of the RDP with a M Carbo trigger w/ spring kit and call it a day

Unfortunately i found that the Hellcat is too damn snappy to be accurate in a defensive situation. Switched over to the M&P Shield plus. Night and day baby. Great video though!!! Im sure that many love their Springfield's

Good one, this really helps narrow things down a little. There are so many different versions of these and other pistols in the EDC genre , things can get a little confusing and overwhelming. Like to see more of these type videos! 🇺🇸☠️🇺🇸

Your grouping with the rdp was better with the tracker, when you shot slower. I'd say it grouped the best

I rented one at the range and i kept shooting low. My G43x and 365 shot well not sure why. Could it be that U shaped sight? Also, i noticed the magazine slide in the Hellcat Pro very easy with ZERO resistance. i mean to the point that I thought I was using the wrong mag. Is this normal?

Just got a new hellcat rdp and the screws in the slide stripped out right out of the box and then I have to send it back to springfield, and then I have had a couple issues with ftf, so as soon as I get it back I'll be selling it, I think the rdp is junk gun!

Thanks for the comparison video. I noticed that the simultaneous comparison data on the Hellcat Pro changed from what was first shown. The last comparison showed it performing much worse than the first one, especially In terms of muzzle rise. Can you please explain that?

So, I recently found your channel and I like what you do. I also have a Hellcat. Where I am right now is in trying to decide on which trigger I'd like to use to swap out the the original. I've got my eye on the Apex, the Monarch by Hyve and I'm really intrigued by the M*Carbo trigger. And let's not forget the PRP trigger either. Get the 507k or 407k…I just got the 407k on my hellcat and soon will have it installed on my milled Glock 43X and love it…I thought the 6 moa would be too big but I like it better with my astigmatism. Compared it side by side with my duty Glock 17 RMR with 3.25 moa and it’s worth every dollar that it costs compared to trijicon. I looked at the Wasp in person and did not like how the red dot looked on it.

Guns are so stupid. At most you NEED a small pistol and a large pistol. Instead we end up with all kinds of pistols. I thought I would be satisfied with 1911's in 9mm & 45. Turns out I like shooting and the easier cleaning of my SCCY. Glad I didn't get the 1911-22 I'd planned on!
