The 1st story was creepy. I'm _always_ paranoid about someone just ending up in my house w/ me when I'm alone. Disheartening that the parents primary concern seemed to be the valuables - not the safety & wellbeing of their kid.

@drigerdranzer7514 Not that I'm disputing that was a bad move on the kid's part - but, come on. Maybe you and I would have locked the doors, but as a teenager, I did more than enough reckless things that I look back on now, and thank God I'm still in one piece. So in the third story, the writer kills a dude in the game about an hour or two before the incident and smack talks him yet does not recognize the voice of said dude. In the span of one or two hours the creeper somehow manages to get Brandon's phone number and the writer's address and makes it to said writer's house in such a short time and also somehow talks to the writer through Brandon's account/party invite? The writer also was apparently okay with some random creeper standing next to his window and apparently wasn't worried that the creeper was texting Brandon. The creeper somehow got through the screen on the window and somehow breaks through the glass with his bare hands, but the way the story is told it sounds like the glass breaks in small sections? The writer runs to the kitchen and grabs a knife before running back to the window and upon seeing the creeper crawling through the window he does not stab said creeper and instead runs back into the kitchen and grabs a cordless phone before retreating upstairs and calling 911 to inform them that the creeper is now in his house. He then goes into the bathroom and locks the door, and while in the bathroom he begins looking for something sharp to use as a weapon despite already having a knife. The cops then show up faster than The Flash and arrest the creeper... This story has a lot of weird plot holes, inconsistencies, and sounds exceedingly fabricated. Why did Brandon disconnect? How did the creeper get through the screen on the window? How did he get the writer's address and Brandon's number in such a short amount of time? How did he get to the writer's home in such a short amount of time? Why did the writer not care that the creeper was outside? How did the creeper talk through Brandon's account/party invite without a console or headset? Did the creeper use a phone to do him some hackin'? Why did the writer run upstairs and call 911 before hiding when he stated that the man was already crawling through the window? Why was he searching for a sharp object when he already had a knife? How did the cops arrive so fast when the story makes it sound like the 911 call took place only minutes beforehand? There's so much that doesn't make sense. If you're going to write a story, at least proofread it.

It took some scrolling but here is the comment I was looking for. I can kinda understand showing shopping receipts and "that's how you earn your keep" is kinda cringey to hear. Amazing how quickly the mom went from concerned to mad/irate and then the dad saying "see if anything is missing?" The story teller said they traveled a lot and sounds like they have money and that's their love. Very disappointing to hear.

I will never understand people like the guy in the first story who leave their door unlocked because they "live in a good neighbourhood". Why does that matter? Living in a good neighbourhood doesn't actually stop robbers from trying to break in, so why make it easier for them by leaving the door unlocked?

One thing every story had in common is how careless the victim was. Leaving doors unlocked, giving strangers your address, and ignoring a man standing behind their window… all three of these people could’ve died, and imagine how many more stories there are where the victim didn’t make it out alive… seriously people, safety comes first, and whenever you’re in danger DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL 911!!! (Or your country’s corresponding emergency number.) it could mean nothing, or it could be the difference between life and death… stay safe.

7:22 these parents are disgusting waste of oxygen. I was taken back by the fact they need a receipt to make sure their kid isn't stealing from them. Then, he needed to "earn" a key for the house he lives in also. And then the first thought when a creepy man is inside the house is "quickly, see if nothing was taken". Some people shouldn't be allowed to be parents.

I once had a late night gaming session, me and my brothers sleep in a seperate building then my parents and i went to bed at 2. I had heard sounds but i passed them of as being birds on the roof etc. Eventually i fall asleep and i awaken to 4 knocks on the door. I thought that must be my stepdad and just very lazy said:" yea come in " to which i heard no response. I thought thats weird , il just check it out. Then it dawned on me, outside it was still dark and on my clock it was 3 am. First i thought it was a ghost of this urban legend i had watched, 1 ghost that would kill you if you know about it existence. But then i looked at the door and saw the shadow of 2 legs under the door. I thought about opening it but i heard breathing and since the same house had been broken into that week and it was the same people on the cameras everytime i was very scared it might have been them. After that i think i heard doors opening and closing Never been so scared as in that moment.

You know, the antagonist (creepy man) in the 2nd story is right on one part: internet safety. Never, ever assume that someone you meet on the internet is who they say they are, otherwise it might be the end of you. I was taught internet safety when I was in grade school, and I always made sure to steer clear of suspicious people and sites (although, admittedly, sometimes it's easy to get carried away. However, I've never experienced a full-on dangerous, life-threatening situation).

Story 1: Always keep things locked. It doesn't matter what type of neighborhood or area you live in. Just living in a nicer area doesn't make one immune to crime. If anything it makes your home more of a target. Story 2: Back in the early days of the internet things were a lot more innocent and people didn't think to lie. But even back then at least I had the presence of mind to talk to them on the phone for months and to video chat with them to make sure they were who they said they were way before agreeing to meeting anyone. Nowadays assume that people aren't who they say they are. 🤨 Story 3: And yet another example of why you don't befriend just anyone on the internet. 😇

Story One: The parents sounded narcissistic. Who cares about what got stolen in your house ask if your kid is ok. Also, have him show the recipes if you don't trust the kid with money then do the shopping yourself. Story Two: This is why it's a good idea to videotape everything. Simple pictures from a phone don't prove anything anymore. Might have been a good idea for the kid to ask the guy if he had a 3-minute or longer video of Tresa just to make sure this person was real. This could have been the guy's kid or neace possibly a victim of his. Story three: Some people getting that mad over a video game. I find it weird tho that the guy couldn't recognize the other mans voice? He claimed he had talked to him at least an hour ago. I find that a little sus.
