Turin said to write some lore on that lone Tartaran beast sooooo…. I gave it a shot. From the records of Damara, a traveling scribe. My decision to travel with the humble traders of Egypt was unusually not born from a desire to build powerful commercial or political connections. Despite my desperate jovial anacronizing of those of high birth for the past few weeks, my decision to travel with the traders was one born from a desire I had thought long since buried. Pure curiosity. The legend, or more folklore, of the dreaded Tartaran spawn had been whispered precariously through the market streets. A rumor that piqued my curiosity not because of the creatures rarity in the desert plains, in times of titanic clashes it was not uncommon for beasts to be wretched from their original realms, rather it was how a creature of such weak repute could terrorize and run amok in the pharaoh's land. Was its rumored weakness baleful propaganda incited by agents, or was this particular spawn one of particularly aberrant power and cunning. It was a fact I had to see for myself, and when opportunity came I foolishly jumped at the chance. I had expected to endure many trips with the egyptian caravans before I caught sight of the creature. After all a being that could gain such notoriety in the lands of titans surely had to be no mere beast that would recklessly charge at all that moved. So when no less than a week had passed before I saw sight of the creature at the break of dawn my equal measure of elation and fear surely had to be understandable. It moved as one would expect from a beast from the unholy depths of tartarus. Powerful and voracious, a being that a caravan of mere caravan and trades people surely had no hope of defending against. That their - our - only chance was to pray to Horus for protection. As the sun rose that mixture of heart pulsating emotions quickly fell, catching sight of the beast in clearer details. It surely was a Tartaran Spawn, matching the descriptions and diagrams with no special qualities. Its powerful claws stumbled, unaccustomed to traversing through the desert. If there were differences I could make out through my spyglass it directly contradicted any theories that it could be a champion of its kind. Its skin while retraining the darkened luster of its brood had been dampened, ashen and flaky, likely worn away by the desert sands and unrelenting sun. While muscular there were also clear signs of starvation, its stomach sucked in and the skin clinging on to the bones. Tartaran spawn rarely had stories of power of menace, more a nuisance in the battle field. It was even adorned with scratches from where smaller animals had beld it, and even the hoofprint of a camel along its side, the bruise and swelling indicating the rib underneath had cracked. This specimen that had accrued so much notoriety was even less than. So I had to ask myself how? How could such a weekend creature have survived for so long. Why was it allowed to reside and prey at defenseless caravans? It most certainly did not pose the threat a titan would but still many unsuspecting caravans had fallen prey to it. Lives that would not have been lost if a few spearmen were sent to put the haggard beast to rest. Then as my gaze fell to the west where the battle of myths and titas had long been underway I made a grim realization. Where one caravan fell the almighty would just issue another to take its place. Simple. Economic. The cost to life and trade far too miniscule compared to the inconvenience of sending holy soldiers to the aid of the people. Soldiers in turn that would likely not last even a year of service. Maybe even a day if through some laughable misfortune they encountered a myth, or god forbid a titan. The dawning sun silhouetted the haggard beast as it stumbled I could not help but give it a wave. Its existence, the circumstances that allowed it to remain were so laughable I could not help but pity it. As its figure disappeared over the dunes I had decided to name the creature. Haggar, for the haggard visage it would impose as it stumbled till it drew its last breath in an unfamiliar land so far from home. My own version of gratitude for reminding me of a lesson I had learnt long ago but had begun to forget. The god’s haven’t forsaken us. They simply don’t care. ---- Hope everyone enjoyed that quick mind dump of mine

Great game, the betrayal really cost us an epic 1v1, cant let the rats squeak away gotta finish em off. These are really fun and can make for some epic late game battles you just dont see in koth, maybe just throw one in every now and again. These rats just drag you down with em, gotta stamp em out early or politic with the other power for a temporary ceasefire to deal with em.

Awesome awesome video! Generally I prefer those cataclysmic struggles, but I do see the point of king of the hill beeing faster paced. So maybe King of the Hill as a standard, and than a few FFAs to the bitter end without it mixed in? :)

The Titan at the end was healing because of the tech from Hekate, which lets all myth units regenerate. I think its the only way to heal titans

Sons of Osiris seem horrible, you spent the equivalent of 5 titans on them and they get backlined and murked within minutes.

this is a great Ra build for 1v1 but it does suffer in FFA. Without flying units the teleport is not as good as it could be, Sun of Osiris doomstack is very cool but feels hard to pull off.
