During my rigorous working-student days, I didn't have access to the internet. However, thankfully, I had these multi-part CDs of classical music which I imported into my iPod (the very ancient one). Listening to classical music had been of great help to me during those highly-stressful times. Thank heavens for classical music, so relaxing and intellectually-stimulating. Thank you Halidon Music for providing us the best and freshest classical musical catalogue. Happy 2020!

When I started listening to classical music in University in the dinosaur age, I used a tape player and bought my classical music on cassette tapes at Tower Records (now long out of business). I moved from cassette tapes to music on CDs and CD players. I bought one ipod and hated it. I cannot stand anything that inserts into my ear canals. I was told by an ENT I have ear canals that are unusually easily irritated. And very narrow. Some odd DNA handed down by an ancestor from the days before recorded music, now an annoying pain for me. I have to use headphones and not ear pods or buds or whatever they are called. Nor ear plugs for noise reduction (my husband snores LOUDLY, the older he gets the louder he snores). If I go deaf I will not be able to tolerate hearing aids that go inside the ear canals. Listening to this on my mobile phone with over the head earphones.

I have heard of studies where isolated plants in “soundproof” rooms, with some playing classical, and some playing heavy metal music, and some with no music. The heavy metal plants died in a day; the classical plants grew a lo, and looked stronger; the plants without music looked “the same”, as before.
