❤ the white dog in Nepal really loved you … that’s why it got into your bed; it it comforted/relaxed by your scent. Hunters use that as a trick if they lose a dog - put down one of their coats/jumpers and some food/water at the last place it was seen, come back the next day and it will be curled up on the clothing, waiting. It really loved you/would have gone anywhere with you. Beautiful filming.

I just found your channel and I really like the way you've presented your hikes. I'm especially in awe in the fact that you're probably RE-hiking all of these trails for this awesome footage of you. I see you walking off in to the distance and think...either you are filthy rich (LOL) and have cameras setup all along the trail, have a magic tether that I cannot see, or are actually heading back to pick it up and resetting it for the next leg. Are you ever planing on going to scandinavia? I really recomend the Kings Trail in the north of sweden, the whole trail is ~ 450km or ish 270 miles, but you can choose and devide it into five segments as I did, if you want and just walk one (in that case I recomend, the Abisko - Nikkaloukta, but go on a sidetrail (or saltolukta for a longer hike)) That type of glacial or ice sheet "ground mountains" (what we call fjäll, there's no english translation thst I know of) is not found in many places around the world and is truely stunning, also if you hike during the summer months, the sun never sets😅 Love your videos!

I’ve used two backpacking tents, the REI quarterdome SL2 and the xmid 2. The xmid the perfect backpacking tent imo other than it being a giant footprint. It’s so much easier to set up than any other tent I’ve used. Tear down is so quick too

Thank you for using the DSLR camera. The footage has become more cinematic, unlike the iPhone. I like the depth of field, the contrast of mirrorless cameras. The iPhone kills all the aesthetics of the frame. Thank you for your work!

These are so wonderful thank you! Do you record with a drone or have a partner? I would imagine dropping the camera and then walking back and forth to retrieve it would get rather tiresome.
