Generally, when the rod bends, the hook is set, and the drag sings, it is widely accepted that a fish is on.

Have you ever tried fishing at one of the 2 preserves at the mouth of the river? Ive got some strikes there, and I see mullet jump often over there

Awesome video JC, how do you avoid all the floating sea grass when fishing the jigs? I cant seem to avoid them no matter where I go

It's frustrating that's for sure. The only thing I'd try is rigging a paddle tail weedless. Other than that I just keep casting and taking the seaweed off.
