About 35 years ago when I was a Volunteer Firefighter I had a similar call to the Police Officer/Doctor story . A police car was t-boned by a drunk driver around 2 am as the bars were letting out. The Officer had to be extrtcated from his cruiser. Because it was an cop, there had to have been easily over a dozen cruisers as well as two Ambulances, a Rescue Truck, a few Fire Engines and a Lighting truck making it daylight at that intersection. Somehow another drunk driver managed to make it around all of those vehicles at a high rate of speed and crashed into the car we were cutting the original officer out of. It sent four of us Firefighters and EMTs to the hospital thankfully with only minor injuries. I believe that the only thing that saved us all was that he hit another empty cruiser first and it absorbed most of the energy.

At 28:00 some guy said a car weighs 40,000 lbs. ("Forty thousand pounds.") I suspect he meant 4,000 lbs. (FOUR thousand pounds.) It would be a much different world if the average vehicle weighed 40,000 pounds.

I really like these programs because it gives you so much information everybody should have about being safe on the highway and buckling your seatbelt. Even though you have airbags without that seat belt you can still obtain serious injuries. Without the seat belt you can be ejected and run over by another vehicle and get killed. People drinking and getting drunk and driving is stupid people doing drugs smoking crack in and getting in a vehicle and driving or even smoking pot I know what pot smells like and I've smelled it from cars and trucks that have been in front of me and I slow down to avoid any contact with those vehicles because I know that is trouble driving is not like it used to be when I started driving in the 60s I notice more people driving faster careless weaving in and out of traffic crossing the yellow lines and double yellow lines Taking Chances I've seen more collisions and Death on the highway in different states and in the state I live in now from people making mistakes. If you're on any kind of medication make sure it's not going to interrupt your driving if it does do not drive take a taxi a taxi will keep you alive unless there's another idiot on the highway driving is a privilege people don't seem to understand that it's been that way since I started driving in the 1960s and they still tell people that and people just ignore it grab a booklet down at DMV and study it every once in awhile whether your truck driver car van whatever you're driving read that book it will bring a lot of memory back to you and when you take your test again when it comes up you're going to have all that memory in your head and pay attention to the speed limit signs and the turns and curves they're out there and if you're sober alert not on drugs you're going to see them and you're going to pay attention to them cuz you want to get home to your family your pets and if your farmer your livestock because that is your income I pray people see this read it understand that it's comes from the heart not from anger but the heart I want everybody to get home safe or to their job safe and alive. Because I know that's what people want themselves I pray for people I pray for the country I don't know who you are I'll pray for you anyway because God does know who you are and he hears my prayers Amen!

Saw a kid get hit on a motorized scooter and he flipped twice in the air I'm so amazed the poor kid was not only alive but came out with minor scratches he got lucky but we need to keep our kids out of the road

If the SUV behind the sedan was speeding then so was the sedan..the 1st car was speeding as well..

Everything isn’t always what it seems like Donald that crashed into the corn 🌽 stand the fact the winner assumed he did it on purpose. But it was due to illness. So I’m life we must know that everything isn’t black and white, left or right, there can be other factors in any and all situations. For example u may see your wife or girlfriend outside her job hugging a man or ya girlfriend hugging a woman u think they are cheating all the while their long lost cousin they haven’t seen in years came to surprise all the while you are ready to raise hell. As we mature it’s best we gather and look 👀 from all perception points before we assume and or make decisions we may regret.

You know that there is such things that are called dash cams? That can record up to all 4 sides. Just make them mandatory for everyone to have and the solution is solved! Just like you make people to have an insurance! A good dashboard camera with 4 cameras build in cost about 100$ which is pennies!
