I am writing my own high fantasy novel while listening to it. It's called "Sol Imperium". I spent nearly five years to fully realize the lore and world-building behind it. Now I am writing down chapters with help from a friend. During this tough time of corona, I lost money and opportunities. Now I just figured I should spend this free time doing something creative. I already completed a few chapters, once my initial twelve chapters are done I'll turn it into a manuscript. Then I'll email it to various literary agents....all I got is hope and imagination. This is my last chance to do something truly meaningful in my life. After this, my youth will end and I don't know what else to do afterward. Anyway thank you for this awesome track, it truly helps. Edit 24th February 2023 Damn, it's been so long. So much has changed in my life. I got jobs, then I got into a really good business school and now I am busy with such a hectic schedule. Yet, I never gave up on this dream of mine. I continued writing this novel whenever I could get time. One of the main driving forces behind that was this comment that I made and all the people who replied to it. I read each of those comments and it made me want to share my story even more. But I also made a promise that I'd share my story once it's in a proper structured and presentable manner. I loved this music SOOO much, but it had one inherent problem. It was too awesome/amazing/inspiring/energetic/well-designed/epic. And it made me want to do something amazing, like write a book, create art, build a game, craft a quest, something AWESOME. Writing doesn't require much talent to start, you just need to be able to create a scene in your head then translate it into words on a page. Trust me my first scribblings when I was like 8 were nothing to be proud of, but over time as I kept writing and kept writing I gradually got better and better.

The story I saw: Chapter 1: ANCIENT WAR A war rages across the lands of two mighty Kingdoms, the cause of the turmoil: A fallen star, cloven in two, both halves held by one kingdom. Two kingdoms, the offensive side aided by hoards of foul man-like beasts. In the heat of battle, a young boy around the age of 14 watches the carnage high in the air from the back of his snowy white Pegasus. Hearing a scream come from the nearby castle, he flies off to help, discovering that enemy warriors have managed to sneak into the halls and are preparing to kill his mother, his baby sister screaming from her crib in the background. The Warriors ask the Queen were one half of the star is, she refuses to answer, and the boy is forced to watch his mother die in front of him. One warrior goes to kill the small baby girl, still screaming in the crib, but her necklace stops him. The star. The two warriors decide to take the child and the star alike, jumping out a window and onto the back of a huge dragon, racing away and leaving the young boy to cry over his mothers slain body. Chapter 2: FORGOTTEN ERA Twenty-five years later, The King who had ruled the land, forever grief stricken by the loss of his wife and daughter, died. Leaving the son, whos name was Revel, to rule in his place, and he vowed that one day, he would find his sister. MEANWHILE in a land ruled by dragon riders and magic users, the young princess, now called Uriel, had grown up into a tall, well built warrior with wonderfully bright teal eyes and a dragon of her own. She would constantly get herself into trouble, weather upsetting fierce Wyverns, or trying to tame the proud and stubborn phoenixes that inhabited her homeland. After a day of escaping the claws of Wyverns, her fun was cut short when she received news that the man she called her father, was dying. She rushed to his side, weeping over him. He calmed her down, and with his dying breath, revealed the truth about who she was, and why she was taken. He apologized to her for stealing her from her home because his ambition for power was greater back then. He told her how the thought of a pure star invoked the greed within him and how he waged war upon her Kingdom, he told her of her brother, and how he was possibly still alive, and he gave her instructions on how to reach her Family. And with that confession, he died. Uriel was heartbroken, knowing she had to leave, but sad to leave the place she grew up in. She said her goodbyes, her eyes full of tears, saddling up her dragon, packing her things, and leaving the kingdom that stole her. Her heart broken, but set on finding her brother nonetheless. Chapter 3: THE JOURNEY Uriel Traveled by sky for a day, but at the edge of the Kingdom, she dismounted her dragon, preforming a spell on it to shrink it to the size of a bird of prey, having it perch on her shoulder as they continued on foot through a beautiful but unknown land to them, knowing that because of the battle, a magic using dragon rider wouldn't be welcomed into most places. They walked for weeks, seeing wonderous lands, mountains, fields of glowing flowers, roaring waterfalls, babbling streams, magic plants, and animals of all shapes and sizes. They braved the elements, Uriel undoing the shrinking spell when it rained and she couldn't find enough shelter, so she could use her dragons wing as a cover. This was not to say that they didn't encounter danger along the way, no in fact, the fought bandits, kidnappers, evil beasts and birds alike, even some carnivorous plants. All the while, Uriel keeping hope in her heart that she would find her brother. One night, Uriel woke from her slumber, arousing her dragon as they saw a light coming near to them. She shrunk the dragon, hiding as she watched three huge Wyvern's chase a lone horse and rider. The rider was valiantly managing to keep the Wyverns off his tail, but they were still closing in, and fast. Uriel's better judgment kicked in and she unshrunk her dragon, racing after them. They dove into the air, the dragon quickly taking down the closes Wyvern, crunching it in it's powerful jaws, it flung the beast aside as Uriel dropped down onto the second Wyvern, taking five arrows and firing them Into the Wyvern's head, it dropped from the sky, it's tail hitting the horse and the rider and sending them flying. Uriel's dragon took care of the third Wyvern and Uriel rushed over to the rider, helping him up. The two stared at each other, they both wore the same necklace: A large crystal, split jaggedly down one side. Could it be? The two placed their own necklace against the others, the gem fit together perfectly. Uriel hugged Revel, tears forming in her eyes as Revel hugged her back, speechless. They both climbed onto Uriel's dragon, making their way to Revel's kingdom in no time Only to find the outlining villages in flames... Chapter 4: FALLEN ARMY There is nothing left of the land, not a soul can be seen, everywhere lay fires, the once green land around them now burnt and black. The people who the Prince and Princess did see, were the fallen people of the villages. Uriel started crying, hugging her dragons heck as Revel comforted her as best he could. They raced to the castle, no one was there, only more death. Whoever had attacked didn't leave anyone alive. Uriel and Revel flew high into the air, the sun was becoming red, as Uriel and Revel looked up to it, they spotted a huge cloud of red and grey smoke rising from the tallest mountain in Revels kingdom. As the neared the site, they saw the battle, Thousands of foul, man-like beasts, some had wings upon their backs, others had sharp horns like dragons. All of Revel's men in their silver armor, fighting like there was no tomorrow, Revels men faltering as they were being pushed closer to the cliffs of the mountain, many of them dead already, their bodies laced the sides of the mountain. It was exactly like the night Uriel was taken. Red blood stained the ground, flowing down the mountain, the screams of both men and beast as they died, the loud explosions of colorful magic, each with their own destruction. War crys that reached the heavens, the clash of a thousand swords, the whoosh of a thousand arrows... The mountain rang with the sounds of Death. Chapter 5: ARISE Uriel wouldn't take it. This was her true homeland, she had been born here, and she was determined to die here, beaten and bloody, or regain her Kingdom for her family. Uriel stood, her dragon circling the battle as she closed her eyes, her hands glowing a fiery orange, she cast the spell upon her dragon, the dragon growing much bigger then its original size. She finished preforming the spell, weakened a bit from her use of magic. Uriel lowered her dragon right over the battle, the dragons tough hide cracking the heads off of spears as the hoards tried to sick the giant winged beast. Revel leapt off of Uriel's dragon, drawing his sword and cutting down the hoards as his men saw their king, their hope renewed as they rushed back into the fight to aid their leader. Uriel took her bow, enchanting each arrow as she fired it expertly down onto the enemy, lessening their numbers as her dragon dove downward, scooping up great numbers of the hoards and bowling them over the sides of the mountains. Some of the wrenched beasts clung to the dragons legs, climbing up its sides and aiming to attack Uriel. She would have non of it as she drew her sword and cut down the few beasts that surrounded her, her sword now dripping in their black blood. She watched the battle, Her arrows gone as she jumped from the sky, landing by her brother to join him, their stars glowing as they slowly turned the tide. Chapter 6: THE BATTLE OF LEDGENDS Uriel gave a war cry, unleashing a strong blast of magic from within her, her teal eyes glowing as her dragon roared, its eyes glowing the same teal color as its body started to glow in white flames. She enchanted her sword with the same white flames, advancing upon the enemy, showing no mercy to the hoards before her. Revel's army advanced with her, the hoards seeing the great magic user as she slayed them left and right. Fearing for the outcome of the battle, some beasts of the hoard preformed a dark and evil spell which called their fallen brethren to rise again. The battle seemed lost, barely any of Revels men were left. Uriel's face hardened, her mind thinking up a plan. She had her brother recall his men as she called to the dragon, it roared from the mountainside and breathed down fire upon the hoards, engulfing them in bright red heat, the heat was so great, it cracked the mountain, sending rocks down upon the hoards, wiping a great portion out. The remaining hoard started to retreat down the side of the mountain, desperately trying to escape the dragon. Revel and his men chased them, they would leave non of these stinking, mangled rats alive. Uriel and her dragon aided them, quickly finishing off what was left of the attackers. When the red smoke cleared, thousands of bodies, both from Revels army, and the hoards, were strewn across the land. Chapter 7: NEW ERA Months after the battle, Revel's Kingdom was once again whole. The damage had been repaired to all the villages and the Castle, and Revel's Kingdom was at peace. Uriel's dragon, who was dubbed "Juar" by the children of the villages, liked to stay in his small size so he could play with the children, visiting them every day. Uriel traveled home to only to be crowned the Queen of the Kingdom! Uriel returned to revel's kingdom to tell him of the news. They joined both Kingdoms, promising that as long as the stars were each worn by a ruler of the two kingdoms, no fight would be fought without the others aid, no one kingdom would ever be without the other. So when Revel and Uriel were old and worn, they passed the stars along to their heirs, and their heirs did the same when their time came. And thus it has remained that way.

I am working on a high/dark medieval fantasy series called the Chronicles of Sol Eldium. I have spent years as well, much like Protim here working on the lore here. From last year until now, I've been improving so much. I have been so inspired from Warhammer Fantasy that I call my world the Aldenhammer Fantasy Universe. I have written chapters and have fixed some that needed some rewriting. I will say, I've learnt so much from films, tv shows and such. The Witcher inspired me to add in character building and to slow down as I had the bad habit of rushing everything. I eventually realized, adding in details and such really gave me a picture of events. Especially battles. Not only did I put hope and imagination into my books so far, I have put meaningful life lessons and such into it to truly inspire people. Such things are faith and friendship, marriage, true love between a real man and a real woman, why it is important to build relations between different characters. I even added a minstrel character to tell the tales that he sees. His name is Geoffrey Cicero. Much inspired from Jaskier from the Witcher. The Sacred Valoryan Empire faces many enemies. So does the Fair High Kingdom of Britonnia. The lore of my world has already been mostly completed. Still got so much to add and some things to fix. Got a big backstory and prologue divided into three parts from the time of creation by the Celestial Father, the God of all creation named Arthandiel, based on the real God of Israel who lives today as does His Son Jesus Christ, the Savior, all the way to the beginning of the Heroic Ages of Sol Eldium, from the First Heroic Age to the Second to the Dark Ages aka the Third Heroic Age of Sol Eldium. Much like Lord of the Rings, the characters and armies form an alliance against an evil dark lord. His name in this one is not Sauron, it is Lucidion, my version of the devil, who had first rebelled during the Celestial War in Heaven and then, in the mortal life of Sol Eldium. The Valandar sent the Celestial High Elves to live amongst the mortals, including dwarves and men. Much inspired from Judeo-Christian historical lore, I put in a big intro about how Adam and Eve were misled and were tempted to cheat on each other, by Lucidion and the mythical first feminazi based figure named Lilith whom I have named Lilithana. Eventually, Lilithana, my version of Lilith became the Queen of Sin and created Death himself in Helldom below after being banished there when Lucidion and his rebel angels were defeated in the Celestial War. It is like an extended Adam & Eve untold sort of thing. The first prologue is called Paradise Lost. The Second is Epic Origins. The third part is the First Great War.

# 26: Red Sorrow has been really doing something to me today. I've listened to this soundtrack almost in full about three times between last night and today as I have been writing a chapter from my futuristic fantasy novel. Certain epic songs just get me in a particular way, and I think it may be because they're tapping into some memory I have from my childhood or even early adulthood of all those epic or fantastical movies I used to watch, like Troy, Gladiator, Alexander, Spartacus, Kingdom of Heaven, etc.
