You have already been told by others, but the header is a JTAG port, with mostly standard JTAG labels. Potentially could be used to rewrite the firmware on the unit. The TDI stands for Test Data In, the TDO is Test Data Out, CLOCK is Test Clock (most likely, the common abbreviation is TCK), TRST is Test Reset, JMS might be Test Mode, and I don't know what NRST is (its not a standard part of the JTAG port, so it may be OWON specific for their own internal tests). I would be guessing the 3.3V pin is to allow for testing of the 3.3V voltage rail, or to allow for powering up a JTAG tester when running tests in the field.

Paul, like the owan scope but I recently purchased a loto osc482 after seeing your review of it. I purchased the scope with function gen ($100) and love it, great functions and software. You do have to have a PC, but that is a small thing to get a two channel scope with the function gen. As far as the band goes no one will care about your hair, as long as you rock.

Hey guys I know this isn't the place for this but don't sweat things. I can't help myself when I hear people hurting and afraid. Throw those face diapers in the garbage. Unless you have a health issue that you and YOUR DR feel the mask will help. Not the government appointed so called virologist. Like Lord Fauci. The truth is coming out. Fauci is in this virus up to his ears. Along with the CCP and some big money people. I believe you can add the DNC to that list as well. I think that will come out soon too. The Communist and our news people have scared people and basically brain washed people. It's called control. Go and read history on Germany starting in the early 30s and look at the similarities. Wake up people. Don't be led so easily. I can't believe how easy and how fast people in this great nation just gave up their Rights and rolled over like a trained pup. I don't care what political party you belong to just please investigate what you hear from the talking heads on TV and make up your own mind. Don't just swallow the crap they are feeding you. If you ever want a free, fair and trusted election in this country again we must stop all the medaling from the Russians, CCP, and others that help facilitate the biggest fraud on the American Citizens ever. Well I have only spoken the facts but it's a shame I will probably be band from here. Remember people, we used to have rights to voice our opinions. Now the big tech rules your free speech. WAKE UP FOLKS BEFORE ITS ALL GONE SO FAR WE CANT GET IT BACK. please go read some world history and how people like Mussolini, Stalin and Hitler came to power. Look at what they did. They started controlling the media for one but don't listen to me go read about it yourself. You can't change history. You can leave out what you don't like but it doesn't change it. If we don't learn from it then we are doomed to repeat it. Please folks I beg you to spend a couple evenings and investigate the history for yourself. What we are teaching our kids now is not our history and it has nothing to do with bringing is together. In the last 12 or so years we have lost all the ground we have gained in race relations. Please, people if you care for your children, grandchildren and their children stop all this stuff preached by the talking heads. History tells us all we need to know. Pay attention to it and learn from it so we don't repeat it. Ok I'm done now. Sorry I just had to say that when I hear people scared to take off the face diapers and come out and socialize with there fellow man (and woman). I don't care what color you are or what county you or your ancestors come from or what religion you practice or what you do in the privacy of your bedroom As long as you don't try to push it on me or others you are free to do it. That is what this country was founded on. If you don't agree with it you have choice's. You can vote in different representation, You can PEACEFULLY (peacefully does not mean burn down cities and police cars or stations. That's called rioting and breaking into places and stealing is also not peaceful it's called looting, all of which is not your right it's a crime.) protest or leave this country and go wherever they do things to your liking. Ok I have spoke my peace. Can we all just get back together and have a big reunion. Cook out and get together, enjoy our kids and have some fun. Does anyone remember that? Let's everyone come together for the 4th of July and celebrate what this fine country was founded on. Let's cook some great food and have some friendly sports and enjoy each other like we used to.

@@acrexp maybe you should have gone though the first pandemic, 1917-1910 like I have. Well not directly but my grandfather did and he did allot of talking about it. He was in the US Army Balloon Core at the time. He got pressed into hospital duty during the worst of it. He appeared to be immune saying all these people dieing around him and he did not get even a sniffle. What he also talked about was all the denial taking place and stupid people not wanting to take basic health precautions. He told me about the anti-mask league in San Francisco that got the mask mandate overturned which resulted in thousands of people dieing in San Francisco in the second wave. He also told about areas like St Louis that prevented the second waves from killing thousands by maintaining mask mandates. When this this pandemic hit I check out some of this stuff. Like the Anti-mask league literature was almost identical to the nut case stuff being put out now. Right down to a malaria treatment being a cure for the killer flue. As far as I can tell the same nut cases. No learning from experience or history.

Curious question, can the function generator still output while using the scope? I use function generators a lot but never cared for them in the scope, I use external ones. However, I can see this handy in the field, but I am struggling to see how its valuable if I cant use it while using the scope. If you covered this in the video, I do apologize I didnt see it.

Got one a couple months ago from " !-good " - pretty happy overall. Biggest beef is there is good sized parasitic draw on the battery while off. Battery will drain in a few weeks if left alone. Annoying. Meter accuracy is quite good, and it autoranges just fine (not sure who was having trouble with that) Scope accuracy is so-so, maybe even a little beyond spec - but fine for the kind of likely uses you'll encounter. Function generator is pretty choppy at the limits, but otherwise not bad.

@@michael931 I have yet to carefully measure the parasitic draw of mine - I can only surmise that there are some different revisions out there, that may include different charging chips, resulting in various current draws among units. Does this unit connect to a computer like the Hantek portable does? A review of the Hantek showed that in could display on a computer (laptop) with surprisingly good software. In fact there appeared to be even more functions in the computer display than on the unit. This would be great if this unit does this too. My need is mobile automotive testing. So my next question is can I use the automotive test leads Hantek has for their scopes. Liked your video. Keep us automotive guys in mind in your reviews. One of the aspects of most digital instruments is the inability to ‘zero’ the resistance measurement function. How hard could that be? Why do manufacturers think that we want to keep subtracting the ‘zero’ value in our heads, or that we don’t care what the resistance of the leads is? Just frosts my cookies.

Menu is not exactly intuitive, but then again, I've been used to my Fluke scope/meter since the nineties with the 97 and now the 190-204. Not having isolated channels bugs me, but there I am comparing it with Fluke again. Not really fair. I've been in the market for a small 2 channel scope with true rms dmm. We'll see. Poor protection from a 10A 5x20mm fuse & a mA polyfuse. Think twice about working on a high voltage battery pack! Overvoltage input protection also looks weak. Fine for low voltage stuff, i.e. 10's of volts AC/DC, perhaps up to 250V AC, but almost all quality DMMs use larger 13/32" x 1-3/8" (10x38mm) midget fuses or 1/4' x 1-1/4" (6x32mm) fuses, especially for the 10A, because it is difficult to interrupt a high voltage DC arc that appears when the fuse blows, especially if it is a kA short, with a physically small fuse.
