Who would have ever thought that there would be a spectrum analyzer (which is also a signal generator) that you can fit into your shirt pocket? And, in your OTHER pocket, you can fit a NanoVNA. The genuine non counterfeit ones, they have them at R&L Electronics right here in Ohio. 73 DE W8LV BILL

Perfect. Been making an led controller and had issues the whole way through, finally got it working but when hooked to the LED strip they squealed. Changed the pwm to 1khz and the noise is gone!

Thank you for the refresher. You are filling in the holes in my knowledge profile. You are a master teacher on the 555, thoroughly explaining the pins and how to use. I love using the 555 for my model railroad light flashing, and this helps with the understanding.

I have been using EBL for a couple of years now. Until recently (Winter 2024) I started having trouble with the AA in my temperature/humidity sensors from Go Vee which would not last long and complained of being 50% when pulled off the charger. Then I realized these calls are rated at 3.2V not 3.5V like normal AA Cells. So now I am on a search for 3.5V rechargeable. Have seen the lithium with usb on the battery but would like not to hook up a cable to each battery. Yeah I know, I may be complaining too much. Haha

I have to say, I Do appreciate that they used only two screw sizes, even though the screws are tiny, and you don’t need 10 different tools to fix stuff. Thanks for the video.

Same thing just happened to my printer, I bought one of those cheap filament bundles of metallic colors, sadly this filament is the worse for clogging. When I realized it was backing up into the extruded, it was a mess, when I pulled the silicone heat block it pulled the temp sensor out. I tried to clean everything up, but keep getting an error about the temp sensor, so I just had to buy another hot end to replace it. I’m all about trying to fixing what I have, but I didn’t pull any pins from the stepper motor and haven’t removed the hot end yet.I feel your pain, just waiting for replacement from Amazon.

I could care less about the design. It works and literally is the only thing keeping me from relapsing to a opioid addiction. And they absolutely do work. And idk what you say about level 5 on level 1 I can feel it and on 2-3 makes my muscles twitch and feels like a pinch and really never go above 4 unless it’s like my leg. The high voltage transformer wouldn’t survive 3 amps for long and yes I get that’s going across your body potentially the heart and could stop it. It’s why it says don’t shock your neck veins or arteries all so blood vessels close to the surface conduct well with this and can really make your muscles twitch. But there is all sorts of the skin effect and unless you use it on a bleeding wound sure it would increase inside the body. But you forget and leave out ohms law resistance and safe voltages vs unsafe 50VAC and 120VDC is the threshold of safe vs potentially dangerous. And sure amps play a role too and yes every one knows just 100 mA across the heart but that is for half the people or average along with it’s referencing 60hz AC along with many other factors go into it. Even surgeries where they use direct lead paddles touching the heart it’s self to shock it into taking back up a sinus rhythm is different for everyone and may take multiple attempts and they start at the one that works on most but won’t hurt even the most sensitive and then repeat in increasing charge amounts till they reach the one that patent and heart respond to. I’m sure you have heard it’s the amps that kill you and this isn’t completely true ether. Again the skin effect and ohms law come into play as well as scare tissue and even the oils and how much moisture is in your skin to even slight deviations in your body nervous system and other structural genetic components all combining as separate yet some can become important variables to the outcome and is why some people are not affected and can resist police tasers and it’s not all ways drugs or mental illness could be adrenaline from fight or flight to an ability to over ride the brains fear response to that type of pain thru determination or actually playing with tasers and learning to overcome there effect even. Not everyone drops like a sack of potato’s just most do cause it gets internally transmitted messing up there cns and literally temp short circuits there brains. Others it can even be potentially deadly. Any ways all this is for the point know more about what your talking about before trying to make something out to be unsafe or some kinda chinese death circuit sent here as a 🖕🏼while they gladly take our cash and laugh at the stupid Americans. Cause sure this was manufactured in China it was still an American owned and made device and company and sadly most corporations do the exact same thing cause late stage capitalism seems to have set in and our elected officials seem to refuse to tell the rich no while telling the rest of us it’s not because they give them millions or isn’t blatant corruption when it absolutely is and why citizens united was the worst Supreme Court decision ever. That’s getting off topic and this got to long any ways. But yeah even a lithium 1.5v battery wouldn’t be dangerous in that and unless you go and really alter or mod it even then the components can’t handle or couldn’t for very long the ranges that would start to be dangerous or harmful.

From 1980 into 1983 I took an 8hr a day 5 days/wk Electronic course in a Vo-Tech school for my electronics degree. We went from basic theory all the way through Integrated circuits , micro chips and then on to a 30 yr career. Those were some of the most fun times in the begaining. I totally recomend these courses to anyone. The doors that were opened were wonderful.

1) it does not work, you are missing *essential* components. Such as first triode and power tube ground reference resistors, first tube plate load resistor los no signal there), etc. 2) you pull values out of the blue with no explanation. Of course you are (poorly) copypasting from a real circuit

Thank you for all your reviews. I am looking for my first scope. I want a Siglent SDS814X HD but its a bit pricey, plus if I blow one up a cheaper one would have less sting. I would like to stay in the $250 range. I am open to suggestions of any scope you recommend. Currently I have been looking at the Hantek DS0215 or the DSO5102P. Which of the two is the better scope? Or perhaps you would have another to take a look at. Thank you.

Sponge may be more effective if u wet it with rosin flux, make it less viscous with alcohol.. water doesnt help because the oxygen in water will oxidize i think! Also i heard the zinc from brass can get in yohr solder and affect the components.. and the hardness wears out the tip quicker but im not sure. I do like how the curls of the wool gets around the whole tip easier tho!
