Bt16 Achillesmon is underrated. Supends and stuns, Can swing multiple times, trash a security and gain 2 memory for each kill on BOTH turns. Great blocker, with taunt he can steal turns back.

Yellow Hybrids mess up your lvl 5s as they don’t have pulsemon in text

@@Scysir all of the level 5's evolve from yellow for the same evo cost. They do this because the old bulkmon doesn't have pulsemon in text.

Any ideas for the Takemikazuchi build? I've been testing that one and it's been kinda polarized, the deck either draws godly and kills turn 3 or you spend the entire game trying to find your pieces and die

Dumb question incoming regarding that Boutmon So you mentioned that DP minus being a way to get around it, I'm more curious how thet interaction would work. Let's say opponent Megalo Sparks you for -8K. Bout drops to 0DP, and as he's about to be deleted from that, can you trash sec to evo into Kazuchi for free, thereby being over 8K DP so it wouldn't be deleted? More curious than anything lol, I mean you'd be a 4K Kazuchi the next turn but you still might have a body unless that 0K DP overrides before he can evo Edit: LOVE the deck profiles fellas, would love to see more as always!

You’re correct! You can do that and that’s my bad I probably should have specified that. Realistically my brain is used to being DP reduced enough to make up for DP change from the evolution so that it doesn’t save the stack. But great question and a good example to note! - TJ

@@HyperColosseum That actually doesn't work. First reason being that Boutmon's top effect triggers when it would leave by an opponent's effect, but DP reduction causes it to be deleted by the rules. Second reason being that even if you could prevent the deletion, Boutmon would be deleted by a second rule check before the bottom effect can digivolve it since the bottom effect isn't interruptive.

TJ would you consider a 1 of Fenri lvl 7 instead of ruin?

I’ve considered it and I don’t think it’s a bad idea at all, with how much memory you gain in this deck you could likely keep turn when you evo into it. With the Ukko and Vaccine/Armor hits and less low end rush stuff happening I think ruin mode loses a fair bit of value the more I think about it. - TJ

Yes, kazuchi has the alternate evo box that says he can go over any level 5 digimon with pulsemon in text and shootmon has it in his text. - TJ

Why not try the old kazuchimon it could work in the deck and provide aggression since it’s has security attack plus 1 .

This was something I meant to go over towards the end of the video but forgot too, old Kazuchi doesn’t have pulsemon in text so it doesn’t get any benefits from the inheritables and it can’t evo the yellow lvl 5’s that aren’t yellow like the newer pieces can. It’s also not searchable off of BT16 Pulsemon either which can be rough as well, I really like the old Kazuchi, he just doesn’t have the synergy needed to keep pace in the current meta. - TJ
