curious how do they hold up with using hot glue? What if they need to be washed?

I don’t recommend washing in a machine. Just spot clean using a damp cloth. Otherwise use a washable fabric glue, these take a while to set, so use clips to hold in place whilst the glue is curing.

How would you make just a small bow 3 / 4 inches please

This bow wouldn’t work so small. If the bottom layer was 3-4” the top layer would only be 1-2”. For a smaller bow I would do a single layer bow cut the bullet fabric 4” x 10” and fold into a 4” bow . 😊
