Great overview once again! I also caught a tip I didn’t hear before, using Shift with the clone tool when you’re up against the edge of the photo frame. That’s always been an issue for me. Thanks!

No problem! Yes that tool is weird with edges and shift make it soo much easier

Hi Dustin, thank you for taking the time to SLOW down your editing part of your tutorials. I have been waiting for you to do this since last year and it's much appreciated. May I ask that you keep to doing this in future tutorials please thank you.

Silly question… was the blue background added in post for the final shot or was this with the grid light? Looks like a much different colour/shade… Thanks for any responses!

How did you go from a near white background to black in your edits
@johnleighdesigns3 жыл бұрын
Very nice - I was curious which camera and lens you are using these days - Im still scraping by with my Canon 700d for past 8 years plus a nifty 50mm, the 18-55 kit lens and an 85mm 1.8 - its not the sharpest camera/lenses combo and gets noisy above 200 ISO but ive been squeezing out the best I can ahead of one day updating modestly to something like a Canon 90d
@workphlo3 жыл бұрын
Yes! I have been using the D5100 and kit lens, and it's not the most high end solution but still holds up as a great resolution, especially for web stuff. Best,

You seem to have an "obsession" for german beers lately. ;)

I noticed that, it was unintentional but the german beers have a way of finding my set!

It's actually not black but dark blue, I am using the grid as described part way through the video. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I just ordered your bottle support plate but I noticed you’re using something different here… like a clear acrylic puck? Is that better than the black bottle plate? Where can I get one of those?

Hi Stephen, we just came out with these! I will follow up with an e-mail to you shortly.

So that was shot at 1/200th? How is there no blur?
@workphlo3 жыл бұрын
At 1/200 the frame is black without flash, only the 1/100,000 of the "flash duration" paints the image on the sensor, so that determines the motion freezing. 1/200 would only effect that if I was using the ambient light captured over that period of time, no ambient here. Hope that makes sense!
@swishstudio94233 жыл бұрын
@@workphlo yep makes perfect sense. Thanks for explaining,

Interesting_thanks Is it just me or is the white stripped highlight to white.
@workphlo3 жыл бұрын
It may be! It's not 100% white but it is very bright, up to personal taste, we definitely could have made it more subtle :)

@workphlo3 жыл бұрын
@@MrVjfelix Yes easily! I am shooting with speedlights, if you have Canon compatible ones you can produce this image no problem. A lot of it comes down to having access to the side of the product for lighting which I achieve with our custom light stand attachments at workphlo.shop make sure to check em out! :)
