You said it wonderfully, although I watched his whole video today with my hand over my mouth cause I had to keep from crying In a coffee shop, but I just asked two strangers that struck up a conversation with my to put him on all the prayer list they could find. Even if a person isn't a believer of amything, to meditate for an easing up of his pain. It's always on my mind about Dan. He humbles me, every single day...and I can only begin to imagine what he's feeling...his followers often feel helpless, and want to do more...and then Dan comes out with yet another BRILLIANT expression! Think someone should try to collect all of Dan Thomas' "One liner inspirational and motivational comments:, and bind them in a book! I'd buy it, for sure! Today's pain address comment is right up there with Dan's now infamous "#DONTGIVEIN,DONTGIVEUP"!! Love this man!! Linda (momto3rs)

PhantomHighway I absolutely loved Dan's comment re: pain is subjective and he is not going to let himself be the subject. It's brilliant. For me who is in massive pain everyday, I say to myself, I am not defined by my diseases, my diseases aren't who I am. However, sometime the pain gets so bad some days that it takes over and you have to do whatever you can to break free from it's grip. Wear positivity like a shirt that you don't take off. So great you zoomed in on that ✌👍

I hope and pray this can be your story too. Sending love and positivity your way. 💜

You are an encouragement! It gets me fighting mad when I hear there were doctors you trusted, doing things to you and not really knowing or understanding fully what they were doing. I had a professor tell me that when cancer is cut out, it can easily spread bc of the blood flow and actually moving cells passed the basement membrane. Not all cancers. He was a retired physician and said going into the medical field in this age is frightening. BUT, we have to research and ask questions before leaning all our faith into the medical community. AND NEVER apologize for getting second opinions or asking questions. Period.

I believe that Drs knew at the very beginning that they would never beat Dans cancer. They told him it was a very aggressive type.... they had to offer surgery, as they do with thousands of patients. They could hardly say to him that they will keep removing tumors, but ultimately he will never be cured. Drs see these cancers every day in the patients they operate on.... they must be seen to have some hope, especially if the patient believes they can beat it.

It frightens me the amount of faith you put in doctor's. At the end of the day they are just mere mortals also. I have acute medical anxiety disorder and as accommodating as my GP is I sometimes think she fobs me off. I have quite serious intestinal issues since having my son 4 months ago but even though my GP examines me and prescribes medicine she still refuses to send me for investigative work. I ended up in A&E last Friday (somewhat unrelated issue), and mentioned it to the doctor in the acute unit and he suggested going straight back to my GP and demanding investigations. My point is it's so scary how much faith we invest in fellow flawed humans. Apologies for the waffling.

@amorgan49846 жыл бұрын
First symptoms were blood In urine, they called it a uti , fatigue, general flank pain, which was from the tumor.... loads of other symptoms, such as feeling unwell, like a flu. I was diagnosed with Rcc stage 3 growing rapidly, they said it would kill me. I declined all surgeries, and just went with iv, and oral chemo. I've since had many infections, many tumors that have grown, turning my cancer bilateral, and developing secondary cancers in the ovaries. I've since developed heart trouble, from chemo, all kinds of other weird and scary side effects, found out I had lupus(which makes me wonder if it all came from undiagnosed lupus as a child)... but moral of this story, is after declining several surgery options, and treatments, I'm still here, still kicking, and my doctors are still surprised that I am here living. Not only am Unloving, but I've turned corners that educated medical professionals told me would never happen. I'm living with cancer everyday, but I'm living!!@peeweetoms, you're living too!!!

Dan, keep doing you. Whatever it takes to make it work for you. I think most of us have shared journeys with family and friends. My Mother was diagnosed 24 yrs. ago on Aug. the 23rd. She died Nov. the 15th. She didn't want to officially be told she was terminal. So they told me. Try leaving an appointment with that news and acting normally. Don't give in, Don't give up. I personally believe it's attitude, to a major degree. Love you like a Mother, my three sons are older than you are. Special love to your Mum and Dad, it is hell watching your child go through any major sickness. Been there done that. Love you bunches, U.S.♥️🇺🇸

They have no problems diagnosing cancer but there are so many different cancers today that the terminal ones take a miracle to cure …. Cancer = $$$ They will never find a cure for ALL cancer !!! And that's all over the world just not in America !!!

Dana Salberg I am a Nurse and just said the same thing on one of his other blogs. It is a mult-billion dollar industry for the big pharmaceutical industries. The truth sucks and I hate it!

AMANDA JAYNE Howe Exactly. I’m in USA & have had shingles twice & my husband just finished his round as well. His Dr told him there’s a new shingles vaccine but told him to wait until Dec to give him time to follow-up with further result data (side effects, etc).

I don’t know you Dan, but for the last month or so your vlogs & instagram are the first thing I look for when I go online, and I am so dreadfully sad about your cancer diagnosis and fight to beat it. Today’s video has me in tears. You are an inspirational human being, your attitude and resilience in the most traumatic of circumstances is humbling. Sending much love to you & your family x
