Any characters I make using this extension don't retain their color once I import them into Mixamo and then from Mixamo to Unreal Engine 5. Any tips on how to keep textures/color on the model?

That .vox importer was a literal life saver. Weight painting was a *PAIN* with the obj format because of the vertices but because of the cubes the converter made, it made it extra easy to weight paint.

Great tutorial! That Vox importer is insanely useful and the only way I get to keep the material IDs. Unfortunately Blender's "select interior faces" option doesn't seem to work properly, meaning there's no automatic way to optimise these models, and doing it by hand is just not feasible.

In blender 3.6 there is no option to enable testing plugin. There are possible workarounds with editing .py file directly, but with no success so far.

HELLLLP. Does this work for larger models?? because I'm tring to export and the scale is so big that it crashes my blender! Is there any way to decrease the scale of my voxel object without losing quality??

What about the voxel materials I set in Magicavoxel? Will they be exported as well?

nope - unfortunately the materials and render settings are locked within magicavoxel. Once you export it will resort back to diffuse.

@@MangoVoxel :(( i made a mistake....that isn't the folder that i mentioned, i meant the folder which usually locate in C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender 2.93\2.93\scripts\addons\io_scene_(maybe voxel) if you installed.

merging vertices does not get rid of unnecessary vertices

It gets rid of a lot of vertices as you can see at the bottom of the screen when you do so, however every interior face will remain, so I'm guessing it only gets rid of duplicate faces.

It's not exporting into Blender. The wording is incorrect. It should be Importing into Blender
