Those do look very MCM! I think they would suit a minimalist decor too. Nice job, Nils!

Awesome video. Looks so simple to make these! I'm going to try making a few this weekend. Poplar can look beautiful if you select boards without the green coloring.

Thank you for the plans. Love the simplicity.

love it, other tutorials require way more tools. This design you can basically du with a regular saw and a chisel.

Nice beginner woodwork project… but, those glue joints make me nervous. Any end-grain glue joint is week, being notched in will help so glad you include that.

Gorgeous. Love both, especially the large one. They are so insanely overpriced in retail stores. Unreal! I want to attempt this. You make it look easy.
@lblincoe20943 жыл бұрын
INSANELY overpriced! A medium sized stand (just in between the two sizes he made) is $25+ at the cheapest! He made his much larger stand for only $9!

I really like the design but I believe I will modify it a little. I did one that looks like a small stool but I would like to try this design on a smaller scale. Thanks for the video.

Pl.give measurements.what is the thickness wooden stick?
@scootermom17913 жыл бұрын
Do you have another version of this where a person doesn't have to use a saw? I know people can get wood cut for them at hardware stores. I have a drill and hardware, but I don't have a saw and don't want one. I also have a sander and a Dremel.
@Grimmthegsd3 жыл бұрын
What if you went to your local dollar store and got a hand saw? Then just sand the edges if they not perfect.
@SAMB03074 жыл бұрын
Love the design! You said these were poplar though? They look like pine
@LRN2DIY4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, definitely poplar. We selected some boards that were lighter and had no green since my wife wanted lighter wood. I think Pine or Douglas fir could work just fine too.

Not a basic too. A saw is expensive
@Scent_Library3 жыл бұрын
Yeah... don’t have a circular saw 🙄
@LRN2DIY3 жыл бұрын
A lot of people thing they're really expensive but the basic ones are really budget-friendly. $29.99 at Harbor Freight or $38 at Home Depot for the least expensive ones. If it's within you budget, I think everyone should own a circular saw and a drill. You can do a ton with those two tools.
@beyazkarga9953 жыл бұрын
yeah sure, basic tools... everyone has a circilar saw at home.
