Here's a little known tip for you guys I learned after watching one of Rendi's low level combat fight caves attempts. The rotation for the fight caves spawns are on a timer, so which rotation you get depends on what time you ENTER the caves, according to the in-game clock, which you can find in the clan chat tab. It took a little math, but I figured out the times (UTC) that you can enter the caves to get the rotation where Jad spawns behind Italy rock as shown in the video and you can "safespot" him. When the healers spawn I tag each one and then run behind Italy rock so that I can kill the healers without having to worry about prayer switching. I do this every time I get a Jad task and it makes it easy and stress free to have the same rotation every time. AM or PM does not make a difference for these times. They are: 1:05 1:21 1:37 1:53 2:09 2:25 2:41 2:57 3:13 3:29 3:45 4:01 4:17 4:33 4:49 5:05 5:21 5:37 5:53 6:09 6:25 6:41 6:57 7:13 7:29 7:45 8:01 8:17 8:33 8:49 9:05 9:21 9:37 9:53 10:09 10:25 10:41 10:57 11:13 11:29 11:45 12:01 12:17 12:33 12:49 Remember, go off the time that it says in the client (UTC), not your computer clock time. alright, so I'm a total noob when it comes to Jad and legit died at least 10 times maybe 15 over the course of 1 week of trying it. I've watched every guide and only finally managed to kill it thanks to being able to enter the caves and get him in the right place thanks to your comment. You literally saved me hours of frustration Legend. Edit: I almost died as missed 1 magic pray, funny enough I decided to record my attempt to see why I keep failing. After reviewing the video, apparently, my mouse would not register 1 left click every 30 clicks or so. This is the reason I kept dying ~facepalm~

It's absolutely worth noting that you're further ahead to pray range when Jad comes out of you're not in view since the damage hits you 1t after the range sound (meaning you have to click the prayer exactly when you hear the sound) compared to the mage hit which is 3 ticks after the sound. Beginners, pray range at the beginning of the fight and change as needed.

Knowing this fact is huge, but you can utilize it more than just at the beginning, I found that if you pray range as default and then only pray mage when you hear the mage attack sound and then switch back to range after the splash, it saves you from how risky range is and you just never get hit

For remembering which animation does what attack I like to think about it logically. Slamming the ground makes a rock fall from the roof which is a physical attack so ranged, standing up to shoot a fireball is magic so mage. Helped me to remember which is which but maybe that's just me who needed that. When it got tense I tended to blank out but this helped

Chins are a life saver. Use them to aggro all the healers at once. Just wait for them to be next to Jad. Equip them back on Jad. Then switch bak to original weapon and right bak in jad. Don’t try to do too much between each atk like Asuka said. One action per attack

The whole video was most helpful, but what I needed to hear was the one action per prayer switch/Jad attack, and the healers were giving me the most trouble. Another trick is to watch Jad's back leg... if he moves it then it is a ranged attack if the back right leg doesn't move then it is a magic attack

Also a tip for low levels you can bring ancient magicks with blood spells to heal up. I take like 8 karams and rest prayer potions. And if you want to "save" somec prayer. Ancient mace special. And a book to swap for the shield when you only have mage or ranger.

Btw if anyone needs it, if you search OSRS Jad Simulator, there’s an actual mod someone created where you are just fighting jad over and over. All you can do is switch your prayers to get use to his attacks. Can’t do damage to him and there’s no healers phase on it but it’s incredibly helpful getting to practice hearing and seeing his attacks before you go into the fight. I highly recommend!

This is just a personal preference but on the jad wave I keep up magic protection watch for his stomp and then swap to ranged, tank the hit and swap back magic because for me that stomp is such a tell to swap to ranged protection. I was messing up so much on his magic because he just rears back and stays and it would make me panic swap haha

For anyone still trying pray ranged at level 7-30, mage from 31-jad. @jad just make sure u entered at the right time for the right rotation for ur method. Flick prays till healers, then one pray protect and healer tag at a time till u have all four. Then ignore them and tank to finish jad. Happy flicking.

@@HarmlessOSRS stay on mage as a default because you might be able to tank a range hit. Use a blowpipe and eagle eye for the fastest kill possible. Don't worry about the healers or just aggro 2 or 3 of them.

I died the first time I got to Jad but it helped to not have the in-game sounds on. That shit got confusing once the healers came since they make their own sound. I recommend not taking your eyes off of Jad before he attacks and then once he does, you have a couple ticks to make a move before he attacks again. Use this time to restore hp or prayer and kill each healer individually rather than stacking them all at once. I got wrecked doing that on my pure.

Turn on the correct prayer when you hear the sound or see the animation start. Leave that same prayer on until you hear or see the next one start.

Turn On Auto-Retaliate for Jad fight. I know you leave Auto-Retaliate off for the first 62 waves. Turn it back on for Jad. Only clicked him three times and it helped me kill two healers without clicking on them a second time.

Always log out between waves. If you click log out in the middle of a wave it will pause the right caves after the current wave is completed allowing you to log out. You’ll log back in and continue right where you left off.

Nope. Jad will always be able to hit you. Your best bet is trying to either trap the healers behind jad or just getting them in a line to only tank one of them.
