[OSRS] Fight Caves Guide For Noobs! | Fire Cape Done Easy!

First things, first.. Finally defeated Jad TODAY on my 5th attempt at 76 range, 70 defence and 60 prayer with the blowpipe and verac's/god d'hide set up. Just want to say to anyone still going, that keeping calm was THE only thing that stopped me on all four previous attempts. Sounds bad for a game but I'd literally be shaking on Jad every time, to the point I was missing prayer clicks purely through being unable to stay still. The waves are fairly easy once you get the hang of using italy rock to your advantage, so they were never a problem buuut, finally got Jad down in the end by trapping him on italy rock and having a breather before starting. Once I'd got going I found it best to tank the healers as once they were all hit only two of the four were able to hit me as they blocked each other off. Again.. when people say keep calm on Jad.. it's no joke haha. BIG THANKS TO YOU EVSCAPE, had the waves down thanks to your explanations and examples in the vid. Also good luck to anyone going for their first like I just did, went ape shit when I got it, great feeling.

I know this video is older but for those wanting jad to spawn on the south, on wave 3, wherever the level 45 spawns is where jad will spawn, if hes spawns south of Italy rock then perfect! if not just leave the cave and come back until the 45 spawns to the south! this way its ease of mind and an easier time for beginners knowing that they can safe spot healers and jad

Pro tip: if you don't want to wait til the end to find out if you get a bad spawn or not, on wave 3 the lvl 45's spawn will be the same as the wave 62 orange 360 AND Jad. So you can do a quick 2 rounds, see the spawn on wave 3 and leave until you get what is desired.

Update: I got it on my 4th try. I'm so stoked. I tried to lure Jad and brought a rune cbow just for the healers but I got a bad spawn and Jad didn't wanna follow me. Fortunately, even though I lost some inven space for supplies bringing the Cbow and prayer book, I still managed to beat Jad. I had to kill the healers one by one rather than try to trap them. Tbh, it seemed easier to kill them than try to trap them. Once they were dead, all I had to do was focus my switches and then it was easy. Anyways, thanks for the guide man.

This really helped me. I would watch it in full before beginning. then re-watch and pause as I went along. I safe-spotted the melee on wave 61 and just took time to collect myself before going into the upcoming fights. The hardest part was not clicking my prayer and getting faked by him, (just my nerves, the mechanic is simple.) Thanks for taking the time to help noobs like me.

I fucking love you man. I just got the cape on my 102 Ironman. First fire cape ever. This was my second real attempt. I used super restores, tune potatos, ranging pots, a 3 pc mage switch for bloods to heal, and a bolt pouch for emerald e, and Dimond e. Ended up using a broodoo shield for the extra 5+ prayer. I'm literally shaking right now. Took me 110min, I safe spotted everything. Right before Jad, I took the time to listen to your video when you showed the two different attack style sounds. Listened to it for like 3 min with my eyes closed so I could engrave the sounds in my mind. I got the best spawn for jad, and had all the healers lined up on me. Fucking perfect run. I can't explain how fucking hyped I am rn. Thanks EV!

3 attempts and 3 times I've got to healers on Jad. Never in a good position, so healers stack me, force me to move or die, then I get overwhelmed and killed. 2 hours to get there. Six hours overall. Potentially over 1m wasted on supplies. I suck. This isn't good for my mental wellbeing.

First 3 attempts were in blessed d'hide like this video with r cbow. Rounds took ages, healers took too much damage off me and Jad and 360s took too long to kill. I then did my 4th in Veracs and d hide body with blowpipe. Did it first try with that gear (4th attempt), killed all but one healer and then tanked it out in the open. No safe spot or luring. Was incredibly easy that way and because prayer flicking was never my problem, I did it first try. Definitely worth getting 75 range, using blowpipe and tanking. Another issue with this guide is; I think he takes far too many brews and not enough prayer. Because of the low minimum stats he recommends and the prayer based low-protection armour he suggests. You need to rely on prayer a lot more to avoid heavy hitting, so you constantly have protection prayers on and you're safe spotting a lot. So first attempt, I actually ran out of prayer final rounds and had to somehow conserve it for Jad. That's just my experience anyway.

Definitely way too many Saradomin Brews and certainly not enough Restore Potions! I recommend bringing about 16 Restore Potions and 0 Prayer Potions, as Restore Potions restore prayer, among other stats. Going through the fight caves for the first time, I easily managed my way up to wave 52, not taking much damage. Unfortunately, at this point, I had a ton of Saradomin Brews and zero Restore Potions/Prayer Potions remaining. Perhaps if you have a much higher prayer level, it's easier to rock this inventory, but I believe had I simply subbed out some Saradomin Brews for Restore Potions, I would have made it to TzTok-Jad. Just a recommendation. I know Mr Mammal's tutorial recommends 16 Restore Potions as well. Attack: 70 Strength: 70 Defense: 70 Constitution: 74 Ranged: 70 Prayer: 52

oliver mazzotti when u get to the healers in a bad spawn of jad, just attack all 4 and run through jad, they will be stuck behind him and the rest is easy. Try to run through as soon as jad cast magic/range attack so u dont get hit by a melee attack. Best of luck!

I found something that really worked well for me with my switches, its using both sound and movement of Jad. When Jad throws his paws up in the air he either makes a sound whilest doing it or not. When making a sound its mage when its silent its range. Just always pray mage and just switch when u hear a sound while he is pumping those stompers in the air. Gl boys and girls!

Hey guys, you don't have to use sounds. If you're a visual person, look at his front legs. If he mages, they go straight back, if he ranges he will lift them straight up. First time i did this, i had no issue switching with the sound off

If you are the bare minimum 40 def 70 range 43+pray, invest in amulet of fury first and foremost(probably the best upgrade for fight caves other than maybe blowpipe), then blessed dhide set, wear a god enchanted rune kiteshield, DO learn how to lure jad, or you're getting destroyed by the healers, I reccomend PotUpSon's guide for this. Use diamond bolts (e) ~600 of em with no switch, you're gonna need that extra invent for supplies, and get at least 13 super restores/prayer, 3 ranging pots are fine, the rest saradomin. Trust me on this one, I just got it for the first time with 43 def 71 range and 50 prayer, and this is what I wish I knew. .

I only got to wave 59 with 60 def, 55 pray and 70 ranged. Ran out of prayer before brews. Also got some pretty shit luck with the spawns so I had to kill the melee and range guy a lot before being able to get to the mager. Used the exact same gear except some random dude gave me 10M after I asked him if I should use unholy book or granite shield so I bought, fury, ancient boots and book of law. So some good luck tonight after all and hopefully better luck in caves tomorrow It was fun though and now I know how to do it. Thanks for the guide it made it a lot less scary lmao.

Good video. I just thought it would be good to mention why you should start with range pray on before Jad spawns. Jad's Ranged attack only makes a sound when it hits you. Jad's Magic attack makes a sound *BEFORE* it hits you. So if you hear a sound when Jad spawns but don't see the range attack animation you should instantly switch to magic. It is also recommended to turn auto retaliate *ON* before Jad spawns but that's just my advice.

Your guide got me to Jad on my very first fire cape attempt. I’m 91cb, 57 pray, 75 ranged. Unfortunately I ran out of brews and had a little trouble with the healers. I got him to half health. The healers beat me up a bit, either I need to bring more brews or get them aligned better. Flicking wasn’t much trouble thanks to hot keys. I’m certain I’ll be able to get it. I’m thinking next try but it may take one more, who knows. Anyways, good guide man.

Yo guys I tried using this setup with 70 range and 43 prayer. If you don’t prayer flick, these won’t be enough prayer pots! Don’t take the ranting pots and take more restores instead! Also take 3 fewer Sara brews and take restores instead

Not even got to Jad . I start to grind . Second try was today with 85 range and 70 prayer . Got crushed during healers phase . I started playing osrs together with my ex-guidies . We have achieved various feats in many mmos . Some of my guildies have better stats than me and still haven;t beat Jad . We refuse to be played like this . ONE MISTAKE and you are dead?So , TODAY , 5 of our best players started the longest grind of their lives . The road to 99 Range,Defense,Mage and prayer . AKA the stats you need for this fight . In some days they will stream their kill attempts . If none of them manages to kill Jad , ALL THE REST of us , will publicaly execute Mods West and Ash , live on Facebook . Nobody plays osrs for the difficulty , they are addicted because this game offers us the LONGEST GRIND journey the world has ever seen . So dear Jagex , 1)reduce all combat stats of the fight caves monsters by 50% (lvl 360 ranged defence specificaly needs to be crippled) 2)Reduce the number of waves to ~30 3)Max number of monsters should be 3 4)Max hit of Jad should be 40 , so if you do a mistake you can 3xbrew+super restore 5)COMPLETELY REMOVE THE HEALERS 6)Guess what , if all these 5 changes are applied , the fight will still be challenging as FUCK . Either do all these of we fucking kill these 2 retarded mods .

I've tried 6 times. Made it to jad 1 time. All other attempts were dumb mistakes and not paying attention. Hopefully try again soon and get it. 400k on supplies wasted but I want that damn cape
