I'm gonna level with you, I'm not spiritualistic or religious, but the way you talk and present yourself is so respectable that I am hooked on whatever you are saying. I watched this entire video hanging on whatever neat quip of info about clerical collars you had yet to reveal. All in all religion or not you seem like someone worth looking into!

I'm all for clergy wearing the collar. It makes the clergy more visible in the community. In an emergency you know who run to. "Pastor, there is someone threatening to jump off a building, Come quick and help!"

When did UMC clergy start wearing collars? My dad was UMC and no one in his generation wore them. It was the classic Wesleyan robe over dress shirt and tie.
