A box for the modeller, not a box for the collector😂

@@Wallsrail can sacrifice one making a new mineral wagon on top of the chassis... now that's prototypical modelling

Good value for the money. I must admit that some parts of the wagon (for example the handbrake linkage) looked a bit cheap though. And yes the new mic isn’t great.

I know of these wagons, but little about them in service. Post WWII there was of course the building boom, and bricks on pallets became common as a quick and convenient way to move them. A similar idea to the Palvans but more successful. Fletton on the LNER was notable for its bogie brick wagons, but where were the palbricks used?

Good question! To be honest, I don't know 😞 Photos of them in service are rare. I suspect the Bedfordshire back works had the majority? but on what traffic flows to which destinations? 🤷♂️ I've looked intently for pictures of them in the Peterborough brick fields but have yet to find any!

Do any followers know where the vehicles were actually used? Evidence seems scarce, thanks.

I gave you a thumbs down by mistake . I hope it didn't go through. I was trying to push the other one.

Not to worry, I read somewhere that KZbin sees it as an engagement regardless. Apparently, the worst thing you can do for a video is watch 3 seconds then of it, click stop, then click off it so it disappears. How true that is 🤷♂️
