Ah man, for me, Sion is the ideal top laner. I just love that he offer so much to the team. Sure he gets bullied in lane, but from solid splitpushing to strong engage, he's always welcome to the team.

Yeah it’s rare I have a Sion on my team and I’m sad - as long as they survive that super early game just a great champion!

@@kar12894 The thing with that is if you die in a team fight they still have to keep you CC'ed or you'll run havok on them, which can keep focus off of your teammates. Doesn't help as much if you're last to die, but it at least makes the opposing team think twice before trying to kill you. The other advantage is if you're in lane and you get killed, you can at least farm with your passive if necessary. Makes dying a little less punishing.

Sidenote from a sion main: the hullbreaker split push strategy is good yes but, it requires your team to be able to win 4v5 fights at times, if your team struggles a lot with teamfights without you, you shouldn't build hullbreaker since it will have no effect

i wonder why you consider sion to be easy vs teemo. his blinds and constant range poison pokes are not only super annoying but also quite painful over time

For the first few levels absolutely, the trick is not to be scared of the hamsterif you land an E, Q is pretty easy to land and a couple of those and he’s dead, and of course when you get level 6 it’s free engage - there’s definitely ways Teemo wins but the trick is simply when Teemo goes forward to poke you go forward to land E!

Should I use one minion Dematerializers on each type (melee/ranged/cannon)? Or all on ranged?

All on ranged is my go to to kill the back line even faster but honestly you can go that wrong so one on each is definitely viable too!

Can you explain why? I've been considering playing him and would like to know what to look out for. I mostly play Renekton but I'm a very casual player and don't play a ton. I do pretty well with Renekton. I used to play Scion a lot like 10 years ago or so before the redesign.

@@DrownInLysergic Sion is a late game champion. Like most late game champions you are generally weaker than other champions for balancing issues. But Sion is especially weaker vs Bruisers. He lacks Sustain, Mobility and in addition damage when his main damage ( his Q ) is canceled. And there are tons of champions who can dodge or cancel it easily - some examples ( Renekton, Camille, Riven, Darius, Aatrox, Jax, Mordekaiser, Sett, Gwen, Vayne, Irelia, Panthein, Tryndamere, Yasuo, Yone.... ). As you can see the list goes on. Your W deals only damage if you can manage to soak a little bit of damage and being able to let it burst out in order to deal damage. But you are incredibly squishy early on and your shield won't last and you cannot use it very well for damage. And your Q is canceld or dodged by many since it is so slow to charge. So you have to be incredibly cautious and aware of enemy's abilites. I do win bad matchups but it is hard work. But some matchups like Darius, Aatrox, Mordekaiser, Gwen are 80% of the time unbeatable for my Tank Sion. And if you get ahead. Man, it is just so fun, more fun than being with any other champion ahead, at least for me. You are just a Behemoth taking over the game. But as I said you are countered by many many champions.

​@@DrownInLysergiclaning against an aatrox or chogath is just pure torture because both of them can just freely interrupt the q while charging. Divine sunderer and botrk users also shit on him as well as anyone with above average mobility, since his damage is very telegraphed. Currenthp/maxhp damage is also pretty crippling since he stacks so much hp from passive and items, so a mundo, fiora or gwen are really good into sion and the latter two also heavily outscales

Easy on paper ; too damn easy to counter , mobility / dash / flash counters him ; his ult is very unreliant for dmg and his bad matchup are way more popular than his good one's

@@3MinuteLeagueofLegends yup! At Least in High Elo , i do play Sion a lot (950k m7) i perma blind pick him and win almost every lane , the only Real counters in low elo are Camille, Fiora and Darius tbh.
