Baus’ playstyle is probably the most unique I’ve seen. He uses fog of war to predict enemy movements and uses R to disengage, combo with his Q or run it down to the Nexus. His Sion is a threat to KR soloqueue.

Also to mention, Sion's w passive grants 4 health for every unit he kills that's why he focuses to keep 10cs/min and this is also the reason he kills crugs and raptors so often but not gromp. And pressing R2 before it lands on the enemies is also cruciual, you have more time to oneshot them and it still cc's enemy and pulls them to you if you press it at the right time.

it’s called Sion Slam or Sion Ulti cancel animation. If you press R+R there’s like 1 second delay before you can press R again to SLAM your ultimate. Meanwhile If you pressed R+Q It will instantly cancel your ult animation and slam it. Note: The reason why thebaus cancels his ult whenever he’s about to hit the enemy because sion R2 Has a slam animation and it will have a longer stun duration.

Two things to keep in note: 1) the Baus is insane at this strat. Some people copy him and get high elo like d+ but for most it’s really hard because it needs a lot of practice. 2) I’ve watched a lot of his streams in Korea. These guys don’t know wtf to do against him. Like they have no idea. In EUW where I play, a lot of the challenger players are better at punishing baus than on the KR server. Literally no one in high elo have experienced this. Baus solo end the game if they don’t deal with him. This rarely happens on EUW since people in high elo know baus.

Not sure but I think you are practically immune to slows during Phase Rush if you have Swiftness. Swiftness - 25% slow reduction, Phase Rush - 75% slow reduction. I said "practically" because it's probably not 75% + 25% = 100%.

the double stun R is not a bug, is just that of you release R before hitting an enemy the ult does a longer duration knock up and then proceeds with the stun, thats the only way sion can make safely a fully charged Q, if you just crash onto the enemy, the opponent will recover from the stun too early and you wont be able to hit a full charge Q, thats very crucial, the downside is that "slamming" your R is much more difficult to hit and often baus pays the price

it's the same bug as retapping r right before it hits, and can confirm that full distance r normally will not let you fully charge q but tapping q or retapping r full distance will(1.75 seconds vs i think 2.25 seconds)

IIRC, Baus said tank Scion is better, but he plays better on lethality Sion because it's easier to die, so he concentrates harder. Also, a major thing people overlook is how good his movements are. He tethers and jukes like a pro. Even if you fully understand the playstyle, you might not have the same success if your "footwork" isn't as good.

Tank Sion you want to play against Tanks or Tops that can't push wave like Akali, or Difficult match up like darius or Aatrox. Although Tank Sion is easier to play, Full AD Sion is more risk/rewards type of play style. You should build Full AD when enemy has squishy team comp. Cull is a great first back item where if you have chance to buy on your first back/death you should.
