Genius 💀😂 I wanna try comedy so bad. But to break the anxiety I wanna basically ask the crowd to act like I’m super famous when I walk out so I can post it on instagram in case I bomb. But I feel like it’ll go way different when it comes down to it lol. Even typing it out now sounds dumb

Stop worrying about getting filmed..your best bet is just to go to open mic or comedy venue and sign up. Just do it even if you fail just dont stop

@@stevenlantigua9544 my bad, I worded that poorly. What I meant was I want to go on stage when I’m called. But then tell the audience I’m gonna walk off and come back in, but that I want them to cheer as loud as possible as if I’m super famous already. Then when I actually walk back in, I’ll be holding my phone as if I’m filming myself. Then when they settle a bit, I can just thank them and say I needed that for my Instagram in case I bomb. It would be a way to break the anxiety for myself, but also work as a segue into my bit since it’s about how easy you can fake your life on social media.
