I’ve just spent 90 minutes with a Maine Guide, 3 minutes at a time. They’re all excellent. Thanks for putting them together. Learned a lot.

Actually took the tump line off my Woods pack years ago. Going to have to put it back. Never heard of tumplining a canoe. You have gotten me very curious. Very well explained lesson on the effectiveness of using a tumpline. I'll try it but I am a little afraid of musing my hair! BTW: Bought a pair a canvas Beans after your recommendation. They only had the 6 inch. Love them. Thanks for the video.

This has been the BEST Tumpline demo I have seen. Thank You Lisa. I have used them and messed around trying to find the sweet spot on the head tump Strap. Having seen a actual human use it I now know what to do. Thanks again Rob

just brilliant, although I believe the tumpline integrates the load with the tensegrity of the fascia along the spinal chain rather than loading it on the skeletal structure. if that were the case, it would neither be comfortable nor healthy...
