Kat, Thank you. Great as per usual. I have been looking for a clear and simple explanation and an app for sometime now. You right the website is the best and a coffee is on its way. Take care. 12:35

This is by far the best explanation of what happens with days dropping off. I've tried explaining to my husband but using the website mentioned certainly makes it easier.

Very useful thanks. I kind of understood beforehand about the rolling 90-180, but this calculator is very useful and the best I have seen. (Not that I looked that much because I have eu passport so don’t need it)

Thanks for the video. As always, I learned a lot from you. To date, I had always thought of the 180 days FORWARD. But your idea to consider them BACKWARDS (ie, in the past) makes perfect sense. Thank you!!!

Thanks for this Kat, we’ve just had to reduce our spring trip to Holland from 89 days to enable us to still make our ferry to Spain for our autumn trip work!! We thought we could do up to 90 in, at least 90 out, then up to 90 again. BUT, we would have been over by 3 days 🙄

That does look a good program, not confusing and easy to use. Apart from sending the developer a thank you, is there any way we can say thank you to all the people who helped facilitate this total absurdity in the first place? Oh, thank you too WB. Good vid as usual.

Nice video and the ninety180 is a cinch to use. Thanks Kat. Did you experience any problems being charged a lot for usung ATMs in Ireland when you were there? I have Nationwide investigating my issues when I used their FlexPlus card. Must emphasise this an ATM problem not Nationwide.

Super helpful! I'm a US citizen, if I were to spend time in the Schengen zone, say 2 months, then fly to London for 4 days or so, then back to the Schengen zone, those four days would not count toward my total stay, correct?
@randlcars45824 ай бұрын
Well explained x

My wife is Irish, theoretically any days I spend in the Schengen zone with her don't count towards my 90 days. This is documented in the training guides for Schengen area border guards, but I don't know how it will work in practice.

My husband is Italian and when we went to Italy last year my passport was stamped (as we are told it must be). At the end of our stay when we had a problem and needed to stay longer we contacted the local authorities and was told there was no way I could extend my stay. My husband could stay on but I would have to return to he UK before my 90 days expired or face being banned from returning. There must be somewhere in the UK we can contact who could tell us exactly what those people married to Europeans can and cannot do in terms of these 90 days.

Hello I received a visa Schengen to spend 63 days in Schengen area between the period of 17/07/24 to 14/10/24 , my normal return date was 17/09/24 however I have overstayed and spent there 118 days and returned to my country on 11/11/24 and because the reason was family I just received a fine no ban or punishment...I went a few days ago to apply for a new visa however the employee there told me I'm not allowed to apply due to the 90/180 days , can you please help me to calculate when I can re-apply and how much I can spend ? Thank you so much and I really appreciate your help

I wish Schengen zone was 183/365 days not 90/180 Because this makes for some long days to get back out of the zone. Good video on 90 day rules.

I'm intelligent and I still find it all confusingly complicated. We are British but live in France so the rule still applies to us for any countries other than France and UK 🤬
