I fthey don't want the whales to get too far ahead then they could take out the t7bc and move it into the highest parts of the solo/realm milestones. This way they could make the crystals better in terms of champ acquisition/duping. Most whales already have tons of r3s, max sigs, and almost all the champs anyway. The only thing they currently don't have is r4s. I was really looking forward to this event because I thought it would be a good chance for me to be able to dupe my rare champs like HB, Shocker, and Adam Warlock. Maybe I could get some other rare champs like black cat or mordo, or some others that I don't currently have. That didn't happen at all. Out of almost 100 crystals opened I got 0 AGs, 0 AG shards, 0 champ Selectors, a very small amount of 7*/Nexus shards to the point where it wasn't enough to open even 1 7*/Titan crystal. What I did get was a lot of t3ac, t6bc and t6cc all of which I had already going into overflow. I will say I did get a good amount of t4ac, 1 banquet key, and a 7* Jessica Jones. So I guess I was lucky in that respect but overall I felt very let down by these crystals. The milestone rewards have been pretty nice overall though and that is where the main rewards have been coming from. But if that is the case I'd rather do away with these RNG crystals and format it more like July 4th and Cyber Weekend where we can actually choose what we get. Or maybe make these crystals nexuses so the luck isn't quite as bad.

Those Catrina Challenges certainly arent worth spending THOUSANDS of units on. Heck, the Banquet milestones have one of the She-Hulk pieces. Now I got 3, and I much rather spend 10k saved units on the last two pieces, then spend 5k+ units on revives doing just one Necropolis path, for the one She-Hulk piece in that Challenge. Not to mention the total spent would be HIGHER compared to my first Necropolis run, because Aegon isnt an option. No revving up.

1 thing that I think kabam is looking at is the fact that a lot of players are sitting on a lot of units, there are some players who grind out the arena twice a week, something all the arenas and they just rack up the units and they are sitting on 10s of thousands of units, so I think that’s why we see kabam increasing the number of units it takes to get the better rewards.

It feels weird too, like one is buying their way up and it doesn’t end, bc whales are buying so much more. The Crystals were a gamble, odds were listed, I sunk my years worth of saved units 15k into the event, on the slim chance i might pull something nice, I didnt, that was always the Gamble, the event rewards were my goal, I was Paragon with one R3, im now Valiant and one milestone (37 million points) away from my third R3, I reused the units I earnt and am at the Isophene milestone, im not going to see an R4 anytime soon but i will save up for next year when they are more common and will see how it goes.

like you Rich, i did everything i could to get as many tickets as possible, sure.. yes i did indulge in the weekly deals for extra banquet tickets... but i was willing to, just so can get close to Valiant (which i now am) and i came out with a total of 16 tokens.... like yourself i was thinking GREAT! the value of these should be good and a great head start into the banquet and see how many free units you can get to increase this, then use my battlechips for extra on top of the units i saved..... only to see no points will be given for exchange of Tokens to SGC... what an absolutely sh**show.

Realm events shouldn't have minimum point requirements otherwise it's just a worse solo event. It should just be progression locked e.g. valiants get the top milestone, paragon gets 90%, tb gets 80% etc.

If they want to do community events dont set them up to only benefit whale spenders! Who other than people dropping money is going to hit the milestones? Hoarding units only carries you so far, lots of events to eat up units. Kabam is too focused on the top end of the game. Way too many early progressions are getting 6* champs for them to mean much these days! Only consolation is the rank up materials are out of reach except for during event's like this!

I got some tier 7 basic cats and a lot full tier 6 class cats and at least 100k in 7* shards so far 🥵 and even 3x 7* nexus crystals. I had a great run so far in the banquet. And put a few 7*’s to rank 3 with the also getting 30+ mill gold. Great run also awakening 7*’s as well it’s been awesome for me to this point. My advice is buy from the MCOC store and not from the game if you’re buying units for the banquet that’s your best bet guys. Because the store gives you more buying from there that’s a given.
