3 Months Old English Bulldog Learning Boundaries & Respect Space | Passaic NJ Dog Training |

Dino, the 3 months old English Bulldog puppy is just like an average puppy: jumpy, mouthy, he's trying to chew on anything and everything including hands and legs which is not so fun! He'd also bolt out the door every time someone opens it, and try getting into the dishwasher as well.
This video shows how he learned to respect space and calm down and his owner learned how to communicate with Dino in an effective way.

Excellent dog owner. You seem to understand the important part of ownership....the "owning" it part. You will have an great companion and should not have to go through what so many "owners" do. The yelling, the chasing, the rude behaviour and yes...even the injuries any dog can cause, like scratches and falls. I wish every perspective dog owner would watch videos like these and see what it really means to be a responsible dog owner. Not just shot and food and a leash.

English Bulldog babies are famous ankle bitters. I thought the same thing need help with the biting, but talked to the breeder and she said they do that but will stop and he totally did stop plus we bought him tons of redirection chew toys. He is the most well behaved sweet dog now such a lover that HAS to be with us and like people gets up to sit on chairs and stuff it’s adorable 😊

@@comet969 at what age did your dog stop on their own? My dog is almost 10 weeks and bites everyone in the house me the least tho but still does. And wants to bite my adult cat as well so I really need the biting to stop lol. He has chew toys but prefers biting living things haha

@@cherishwilliams9742 😆 I know and that crap hurts with those baby teeth I’m not really sure as he is five yesterday but I know they grow super fast and he was full size early on and at that point he had pretty much stopped when he was no longer a puppy puppy but more full size definitely before one year probably a few months and it started to slow down as he got older and older. I would definitely correct him though so he knows and learns it’s not ok and give the toy I have also heard and done myself is to make a sound like a hurt puppy would make or ouch. Even now if he is playing with me and gets to ruff if I make a sound that it hurt he stops right away almost like he is in trouble. I will say when the biting stops and they grow older they are such a good family loving dog but they also have to be with you all the time and he hates when he has to stay in in the summer because they can’t tolerate hot and cold well like other dogs only a little bit of time and he has to go in and he will stay by the door They give the cutest faces when they want something and place there head down on you or near u and the sounds are so cute. He is the best dog we could ask for

@@cherishwilliams9742 sorry I couldn’t be more specific but I found this when I searched online Why do bulldogs bite? All bulldogs go through a biting phase when they are puppies due to teething pain. Eventually, bulldogs grow out of this phase. If a bulldog does not stop biting by 12 months of age, it usually reflects a lack of training or signs of owner protection or jealousy.

@@comet969 ok thank you yea my dog is a Great Dane but he’s definitely going through puppy teething and you’re right that does hurt hahaha because I have a cat I simply just can’t wait for his maturity but at least they do grow fast :) I’ll definitely continue reinforce the not biting rule and redirecting him towards his chew toys but I might also have to spend that money on a trainer as well. This is my first dog ever !!! But I’ve read that they are easy to train and eager to learn and make their owners happy :) 🧡💛💚💖

Great video in lots of lovely ways. But let’s never forget that each dog has different energy levels, aggressive or passive issues, testosterone levels, etc. What works in one dog’s training doesn’t always apply to a dog of a different natural constitution. It’s not fair to the dog to pretend otherwise.
