I have a Flip 6 for 3½ months, pixels starting to die at the fold. Sp frustrated. Crap phone, doing exactly the same as the flip 4. Samsung is not ready for the flip or fold yet.

I have a sony phone. It's been 7 years now 😁 and I'm thinking about buying a new phone and i really like z flip 6 so far but there's something I'm worried about and that durability. I currently have the z flip6. Only to thing stopping me from switching from my iPhone completely is that RCS isn't everywhere yet.. and I don't like WhatsApp so it's either iMessage or RCS

⁠​⁠@@lopezdad30 better battery, finally has s24 grade camera and I personally like the more boxy edges with 6 vs the older models. Thinking of getting this as my personal and using my iPhone 14 Pro mostly for work and filming video.

@petersimplife the z flip 5 is boxy too, not round at all. The camera system and battery are minimal upgrades, baby step upgrade. The chipset is basically the same, along with both the inner and outer screens r exactly the same as well.

@@lopezdad30 the camera and battery are the main reason. Let people like what they like. I have watched every year and I finally felt like it was worth a buy now that it has the same camera or better that I adore from my brothers S22.

@petersimplife for starters, the galaxy phones have 3 cameras, not just 2 like the flips have.... so there's already a major downgrade when compared. Then there's the displays which is only 1080p on the inner, and a measly 720p at 60hz on the outer screen. I love and have been rocking Galaxy S phones since they released back in 2010. I have owned the Galaxy S, S2, S4, S7 edge, S9+, S20+, S22 ultra and the Z flip 2, and currently rock the Z Flip 5. So don't tell me about letting ppl like what they like cuz I guarantee you I like Galaxy phones way more than you have or ever will have.... I can just be more honest about them and what they really offer or lack thereof.
