3 More Arrested In Kuwait Building Fire; Suspicion Of Manslaughter Following A Devastating Fire

Kuwaiti authorities have detained three individuals on suspicion of manslaughter following a devastating fire that killed dozens of Indian migrant workers and plunged their families and friends into mourning. The blaze, which broke out around dawn on Wednesday in the Mangaf area, also claimed the lives of three Filipinos among the 50 dead, according to officials in Manila. The six-storey building, heavily populated with migrant labourers, was engulfed in black smoke as the fire swept through the ground floor. Most of Kuwait's population of over four million comprises foreigners, many from South and Southeast Asia working in construction and service industries.

The Kuwati govertment is responsible if they had made a law for building with no fire exit should not be used and no safety measures you cant dismissed this incidents just because they are Indians

Pls stop shooting from the hip without knowing the facts. Kuwaiti govt. is not responsible as economic migrants chose to go wherever in search of jobs. Besides overcrowding was to blame as when Inspectors to to check the migrants are told to hide from authorities for fear of loosing their jobs. Indians never obey laws and when they are broken social media goes into a frenzy. My widowed mother in the fifties and me in the seventies have experienced this in Bahrain.
