WTF!!!!!!! Yo, I stumbled upon this channel by accident through the youtube algorithm. Damn, looking at the list of videos that you have uploaded, there's a lot of difficult repertoire that is LRSM level and beyond. It's insane, honestly. Shouldn't you save some of these pieces for when your channel grows really big? Unless you have a whole lot more suprises coming along the way, which I'm absolutely looking forward to!

@archgod_yt2431
@archgod_yt2431 4 жыл бұрын
@@polzovatelsnikomc It is a level that is a part of the syllabus of the Associate Board Of The Royal Schools Of Music.(ABRSM for short) In short, the syllabus has 8 grades for the piano that change every 2 years (there are also other instruments, which have different syllabus rotation years) , followed by 3 upper levels, which in order of level are: DipABRSM (which is equivalent to a diploma), LRSM (which is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree) and FRSM ( which is the same as a Master's degree). In the 8 grades, you select 3 pieces from the ABRSM Exam Pieces book to play in the ABRSM examination, divided into 3 lists (specifically List A,B,C), and you select a piece from each of these three lists. In general, List A is Baroque to Early Classical pieces, List B is Late Classical to Romantic pieces, and List C is mostly Late Romantic to 20th Century pieces (Though it doesn't necessarily have to come from that time period, the pieces could have an old stylistic form done in a modern context, like Shostakovich's Op.87 No.2 Prelude and Fugue in A Minor that appeared in List A of the 2019-2020 Exam Pieces for Piano). The grade exams have an Aural, Sight Reading and Scales test. In the upper levels, you select 4 pieces from an official list that they have and their recommended editions. (You can look up the syllabus online and download the file in a PDF format, just search for DipABRSM syllabus and look at the table of contents to scroll down and find what you want). The exams come with a Viva Voce (something like an interview that will ask questions ranging from history to your performance) and Quick Study (which is sight reading but you have 5 minutes to do so). You also have to submit a Written Submission in a certain amount of words that is essentially about what you're doing. For more information, you can look at the website. (I wrote this at a really bad time, I have to go now and prepare for school with 15 minutes on the clock, cheers!)

@@pentaxel3905 yes! i forgot to include that as well. peter is Пётр in Russian and we do this thing where we add a few words to the name to symbolize “closeness” to that person (just like they do it in English, as in Mike becomes [sometimes] Mickey). I’m a pianist who’s currently studying this. I must say I never thought to take out notes the way he did here to make it easier...I see the pinky or the thumb aren’t pressing down on the keys (they’re not playing) in the difficult parts. Hey, Traum, where are the other two movements?? I know you can handle them. But for this performance, Wonderful!!! One of the staples, to put it mildly, the Great pianist, Alexis Weissenberg played. He said, " it's playable despite it's apparent difficulties". The last movement poses the most difficult demands, mostly due to it's control in leaps ' alternating of the left and right hands. The piano!! A true percussive instrument.

Why always comparing? They’re all accomplished pianists and comments like this spawn stupid turf wars

@@davidtaylor607 Not at all, I think Traum is amazing (unbelievably so!!). But your comment is edited and initially compared Traum to Kassia and/or Rousseau painting them in a negative light.

@Elie El Khoury, I’m just messing with you (ergo the wink) However, I wasn’t trying to put the other pianists down. Just acknowledging how dedicated Traum is. (Also, I like your channel. You play well.)

I have a theory. Traum isn't the person "playing" the Piano, no, that's just the cameraman / actor. the truth is! THE TRUTH IS! Traum is the Piano! A soul and heart within the Piano, Bringing the Piano alive from the very core to the keys!
